Set inside the new West Hall of the expansive and intricate Las Vegas Convention Center, crowds of food enthusiasts, restaurateurs, and suppliers flocked to the event with exciting anticipation.
Isles were adorned with the world's best food products and beverages from around the world. Throughout the exhibit, attendees marveled at the exotic artisan creations while sampling them in an atmosphere of sophistication. The show demonstrated a unique atmosphere that was both inviting and informative, but nothing compared to the worldly and diverse booth that was presented by the World’s Best Cheeses team and vendors.
The star-studded booth featured six World Cheese Awards judges including Guilde International de Fromagers recipient Stephanie Ciano, and cheesemongers Caroline Hostettler, Kris Lloyd, Manuel Maia, Giovanni Fiori, and Peter Verbruggen. World’s Best Cheeses partnered vendors, Central Formaggi, Cheese from Belgium, Chris’ Foods, Colts, Cooleeny Farms, Fine Cheese Company, Firefly Cheese, Foie Green, Keogh’s, Knipschildts, Luigi Guffanti, Mystic Cheese, Mojo Mousse, Perrystead Dairy, Plymouth Cheese, Rodolphe Le Meunier, TradiFoods, and Woodside Cheese Wrights showcased goods from cheese to chocolates to vegan foie gras!
The biggest turn out came from the cheese industry, so naturally, the highlight of the show was the judging of the world’s best cheeses. Vendors showcased their latest offerings of cheese varieties and flavors, from creamy brie and bold cheddar to fragrant blue cheese and bold Gouda, but only one booth hit the jackpot – Booth #2217, World’s Best Cheeses! From Philadelphia to Australia, vendors from the World’s Best Cheeses made international waves!
Australian artisan, Kris Lloyd has been perfecting a unique blend of cheese for years for her brand, Woodside Cheese Wrights, but only one has everyone a little antsy! The rare cheese’s popularity has been growing steadily, scoring awards at the 2022 Royal Agricultural SA Dairy Competition, 2022 DIAA Australia Competition, 2022 International Cheese Awards, and the 2022 Royal Agricultural Queensland Dairy Awards. All hail the Anthill Queen!

Born into a family of restaurateurs in the south-west of France, Mikel Abeberry, an entrepreneur at heart, has always had a passion for food. Mikel discovered the possibilities of plantbased cooking after his father was diagnosed with heart complications. Given strict dietary restrictions to improve his health, Mikel sought out vegetable alternatives for his father during the holidays, but foie gras substitutes did not satisfy his keen palate. With 10 years of experience in the kitchen, Mikel decided to create a replica foie gras for his father using only vegetable ingredients including cashews, miso, sesame puree, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. Thus, Foie Green was born!

After leaving a career in design and brand development, eccentric Philadelphia cheese maker Yoav Perry took a chance on his cheese obsession and founded Perrystead Dairy. Fusing traditional techniques with modern twists, Perrystead Dairy raises the bar on American made cheese.
Perrystead’s pride and joy, Moonrise cheese, a fragrant cheese with a pungent aroma and a complex nutty flavor is a total knockout! With its orange rind and smooth, silky texture, Moonrise is a delicious blend of French calf rennet and Iberian cardoon artichoke thistle flower enzyme.
Early on, Moonrise proved to be a local favorite, but soared to the beyond as a highly sought-after cheese by connoisseurs. After gaining the bronze medal at the 2022 International Cheese Awards, Moonrise kept flying high appearing first on “The Best Cheeses We Ate at the 2023 Winter Fancy Food Show” article by Culture Magazine and in The New York Times, along with their Real Philly Schmear and Intergalactic cheese.
In Italy, 1876, Luigi Guffanti, a cheese "ager" took a chance and bought an abandoned silver mine and a cellar to ensure constant temperature and humidity all year round after he began maturing Gorgonzola cheese. Five generations later, his great-grandson’s, Giovanni and Davide continue the family business working with local farmers to produce the cheeses they age and guide to customers. Some of their most popular cheeses include Gorgonzola (Picante and Dolce), Fontina Estrema DOP (a seasonal item only available for a limited time with an evolving flavor and texture), Gorgonzola Dolce Cremificato (simply add a spoon and you're good to go!), Taleggio (a creamy, meltable cheese great for many treatments, especially on cheese boards and pizzas), Formaggi Sola Di Pecora (a squareshaped sheep milk cheese from the Piedmont region), and Curcumaggio (a turmeric-infused soft ripened cheese in a small round size with a gorgeous golden color).
