Sitting Service For Children Ages 6 Weeks Old to 9 Years Old

The Sitting Service Program is a “casual care” service and is NOT a state licensed day care. The service is free to parents/legal guardians only, who are utilizing the recreation facilities and amenities. Due to limited participation numbers established by state regulations, we offer this program to our patrons as a limited time sitting service, available on a first come, first served basis. No reservations will be taken and you may not hold spots for others. This is not a guaranteed service to all patrons and facility pass holders. Racquetball Court Reservations • All court reservations can be made by phone or in person. • Reservations can be made two days in advance. For example, to make a reservation for a Wednesday, you may call as early as Monday morning, at 5:00am. • Cost for a court reservation is $4.00 per hour. • Regular facility admission fees still apply (annual pass/visit pass/daily admission). • Persons wishing to reserve a racquetball court will be allowed to reserve either court at any time within the 48 hour window, if a court is available.

ISC– Indoor Court Reservations • Indoor Tennis Court reservations may be made by phone or in person as early as three days in advance. • The cost for a tennis court reservation is $18 per hour. • The Indoor Sports Complex has 2 ball machines to rent at $8 per hour + the court reservation fee. • Annual Pass Holders can walk onto a court (if available) at no charge for 1 hour; however they will pay $10 for 1 hour of a ball machine.

Accepted Forms of Payment at the Front Desk Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department facilities accept the following forms of payment, with the noted exceptions: CASH CHECKS – Checks under $12.00 cannot be accepted for general admission. Checks are not accepted at the outdoor pools. There is a $30.00 service charge for all returned checks! *CREDIT CARDS – Only accepted for General Admission and Walk-in

WCPR Refund Policy Credits, Transfers or Refunds will be processed upon request for recreation classes, programs, leagues and other activities in accordance with the following policy: 1. Should you need to cancel your participation in a class/league/program or activity, you must notify the department no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the program. No credits, transfers or refunds will be processed after the date a class/league/program or activity is scheduled to begin. This includes uniform fees for any leagues. 2. Whether you choose to cancel your registration in advance of the 24 hours; or WCPR must cancel the class/program/league or activity you are registered in, you will be given the option of receiving a credit to your account, transferring your payment to another registration of the same value (or less), or to receive a refund by check for the amount of the class/program/league or activity fee. Due to State Auditing/Fund Regulations, any On-line Processing Fees cannot be credited or refunded. •

CREDITS: After speaking with a WCPR staff person regarding the cancellation of your registration, they can credit your on-line account the amount of the activity fee. Credits are immediately effective once in your account and can be used towards any future WCPR activity registration/payment. Processing fees will apply. TRANSFERS: A WCPR staff person will work with you to transfer your canceled registration towards a future class/program/league or activity of the same value (or less). If you choose a class/program/ league or activity with a higher fee, processing fees will apply. REFUNDS: The amount of the class/program/league or activity fee will be issued back to you in the form of a check. Processing fees will not be refunded. Please allow 2 weeks to receive refunds processed by check.

Special Consideration Refunds must be submitted in writing to management staff.

Photograph Policy

Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (“WCPR”) reserves the right to photograph classes, events, programs, and participants at any of the Parks and Recreation Facilities or properties, or any event sponsored by WCPR that is located on property not owned by Williamson County. Use of photographs may be used by WCPR for promotional purposes and may be used in publications and media communications in any format as WCPR decides. Attendance at WCPR programs and events constitutes consent to be photographed for use in print and/or electronic publicity for WCPR. To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian. If you do not want us to use a photo of you or your child, please tell the WCPR staff member coordinating the event before the program or event. If you see a photo of yourself or a family member that you wish not to be used by WCPR please notify WCPR staff. WCPR will take reasonable steps to remove and dispose of the photograph. WCPR may not be able to remove the photograph from printed media or other existing media where the photograph may have been used, but it will refrain from using the photograph in its future media. WCPR may require you to complete a photograph release form to participate in a class, event, league or program.

Come out and cheer on your favorite pint-sized triathlete as they take on our fun-filled course. Kids will start off peddling their way through the bike course, will then transition to the “need for speed” running portion and will conclude their triathlon with a “swim” (actually a dash thru the sprinklers!) as they head to the Finish Line to receive their medal.

Group Fitness Information & Policies • Passes are interchangeable between the Franklin Recreation Complex, the Longview Recreation Center, the Indoor Sports Complex, the Nolensville Recreation Complex and the Fairview Recreation Complex. Once a pass has been purchased, it is valid at any of these 5 facilities. • Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 13 may participate or be in the room while fitness classes are in session. • Anyone ages 13 – 17 must have a parent/guardian sign a liability release waiver prior to participation; available at front desk. • Patrons should wear comfortable and appropriate work-out clothing while

participating in class. • Patrons are permitted to bring water bottles, towels, etc. into the fitness rooms. • The public is NOT permitted to use either of the Group Fitness Rooms and/ or the equipment when a class is not in session and/ or an instructor is not present in the room. Doors should be kept locked by Facility Managers when classes are not in session.

YOGA

Learn to harness the power of hatha yoga to strengthen your body, soften your heart, and clear your mind. Each class explores biomechanical principles of alignment of the body in the poses as a meditation in motion. Hands-on adjustments, demonstrations and partner work may be done in class to help reveal a deeper joy through the body. Classes end with Savasana (complete relaxation pose) and a blessing. Gentle & Restorative Yoga If you are looking to experience the nurturing effects of yoga in a quieter, slow class then this class is for you. With an emphasis on restorative postures, this is a great place to start for older beginners, someone with injuries, or those simply desiring a more soothing class. Fairview Seniors Group The Senior Citizens meet each Tuesday and Thursday in the senior’s room at the Fairview Recreation Complex. At 10:30am everyone plays BINGO. Members who enjoy playing Rook come early on meeting days and play until time for Bingo. The seniors also have a pool table and the gentlemen play pool, both before and after the meeting. A Covered Dish Lunch is held on the first Tuesday of each month; and, lunch is catered in or the group plans a lunch out on the third Thursday of each month. Senior Day Trips July: Nashville Sounds Game Let us take you out to the ball game on July 27th at the NEW First Tennessee Park to watch the Nashville Sounds play. We will be seated at the Budweiser Deck that overlooks the first base line of the field. There will be an All-You-Can-Eat lunch before the game that will include hot dogs, burgers, BBQ pork, cole slaw, baked beans, chips, water, and tea. August: Lotz House & Bunganut Pig Come hear the compelling story of the Lotz family and the times they lived in. While here, take time to browse the finest Civil War era antiques collection in the South. The Lotz House has been on the National Historic Register since 1976. This house was in the epicenter of the Battle of Franklin, the bloodiest five hours of the American Civil War. After our tour of the Lotz House, we will drive just up the road to the Bunganut Pig (Dutch treat) for lunch. Tansportation is ONLY available out of the Franklin Recreation Complex for this trip. August: Loretta Lynn Ranch: Coal Miner’s Daughter Tour Join us for a trip to Hurricane Mills, TN. First stop will be at the Log Cabin restaurant (Dutch Treat) where we will get our country cookin’ fix before hitting the “Dude Ranch”. Learn about the life of country music legend Loretta Lynn by touring the plantation style home, coal mine, Butcher Holler replica and museums. View memorabilia of herself, family (like her sister, singer Crystal Gayle) and friends in the entertainment business. There is also a collection of art, dolls and fans that are special to Loretta as well as several gift shops. Grab a milkshake from Loretta’s Snack shack (cash only) for the ride home. NEW! Parent’s Night IN Parents, we invite you to utilize our newest program for you and your child(ren) with special needs. We are offering care for your child so that you can take a fitness class, work out in our wellness center or enjoy our other amenities while our Certified Rec Therapist engages your child in various activities and social time. Choose from two different time frames: 4:00-5:30pm OR 5:30-7:00pm.This program will be offered twice a month and will offset our REC IT program to give a third Tuesday option. Enrollment is limited.
