Barre Barre (bahr) Fitness combines ballet, Pilates, and yoga to give you beautiful sculpted, lean muscles, without the impact and injuries a dancer may endure. An intense isometric strength-training, low-impact class, focusing on balance, lengthening and strengthening core, glutes, and all other major muscle groups. NO Dance Experience Required! Anyone can do it! A 60-minute class starts with a warm up, upper-body light-weight series, barre series, and concludes with mat work (core, push ups, planks, stretch). The barre is used for balance. Exercises include several toning sequences and resistance movements emphasizing the core, arms, seat and thighs. Each strength section of this workout is followed by targeted stretching to create long, lean muscle without bulk. Walk-In fees are $15 per class. Instructor: Rebecca Trauscht
