Based on a building block system, each of our Amazing Athletes Programs takes the time to carefully break down and teach the basic fundamentals and mechanics of nine different sports: No other children’s sport and fitness program is better able to utilize the movements of sports in a way that helps children to meet, master, and exceed their motor development milestones. Also, since all of our classes are taught in a group setting we are able to incorporate lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence. Most importantly, we teach each child at his or her own pace. By allowing children to build their skills at their own comfort level, they become accustomed to sports and fitness in a natural way that will benefit them throughout adolescence and stick with them into adulthood. Instructor: Katie Kowalski Registration: Contact Katie at Katie@amazingathletes.com or call 615-394-3580 Please be aware that the registration for this program is being handled differently than other WCPR camps and is not available for online registration through WCPR. “Amazing Warriors”

Amazing Warriors is a game-based sports program designed to keep older children active and engaged through advanced physical fitness challenges and predominately interactive sports lessons. Physical abilities and sports skills can vary significantly from child to child within these ages. The Amazing Warriors Program ensures balanced play by including in each class a re-cap of basic fundamentals and a progression lesson for the sport of the day. All of our sports games in the Amazing Warriors Program are skill based rather than competition based. It is our goal with Amazing Warriors to promote teamwork and progression rather than competition. By introducing children to various athletics through non-competitive, skill-based activities they are better able to enjoy physical activity and learn about sports without the heavy pressure to perform that often comes from organized athletics.
