Participant Eligibility:

In order to be eligible to participate in the WCPR Summer Camp Program, participants MUST be able to function in a high-paced group setting without individualized attention (1 staff person for every 10 children ratio) and they MUST be able to understand and comply with the behavioral rules and regulations. Parents MUST live or work in Williamson County for their children to be eligible to participate in the Summer Camp program.

*Children MUST be 6 years old by September 30, 2015 And CANNOT be 13 years old before June 1, 2015.

At the time of Registration, you must pay the Registration Fee & 5 days of camp per child OR for the Full 7 Week Program.

Registration Policies •• Registration must be done in person. •• Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Parents may register their camper for up to seven weeks (depending on availability).

•• Campers must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. Campers are not required to attend registration.

•• New campers must be assessed prior to registration. No new campers will be assessed during registration.

•• After registration, if any weeks need to be changed, or if additional weeks are required, please submit a written request to the Therapeutics Division (WCPR, Attn: Traci Hamby, 1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN 37064). Requests may be received through May 22, 2015. No requests will be processed after the deadline! Depending on availability, requests will be approved on a first come, first served basis.

The Academy is set up for players to come and learn different aspects of the game in a small group setting. Tiny Tots Soccer Camps

Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be offering a Tiny Tots Soccer Camp this summer for boys and girls ages 3-6. Each camp will be limited to 40 participants and will be on a first come first serve basis. Registration will open on May 1. Camp dates will be either 6/8-6/12 or 7/20-7/24 at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park in Brentwood. The cost per week is $35 per participant. We ask that at least one parent be present and that each child bring a size 3 soccer ball. This camp will offer a variety of different sports and activities for children. Participants can expect to have mini sports camps along with game application for traditional and non-traditional activities such as basketball, volleyball, pickleball, flag football, kickball and much more. FREAQS Sports Performance Trainings

FREAQS Sports Performance has the only program designated specifically for younger athletes that creates explosive, dynamic, powerful athletes by mixing burst-style training with speed and agility. FREAQS uses functional sport specific movements to establish base levels of core strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability to ensure maximum results. Nick Marrs is the FREAQS founder, trainer and certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has taken his experience with the athletes of all levels including the professional ranks and created this program to take every athlete to the top of their game. Quick start beginner camps will utilize a low compression ball, a shorter court, and a maximum of a 25”racquet. Campers will immerse themselves in a magical fairy land of ballerina princesses with royal games, bibbidi ballroom dancing, princess pampering, crown crafts, fairytale enchantment, and tea party snacks! Join us for one of our Rhythm & Spirit camps for ages 7-13 years old! This is a great opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of dance and/or cheer in a fun environment. This program will offer day trips that are more adventurous for your child to participate in during the summer months. White Water Rafting

Deer Run Retreat - Rappelling & Lake Time

Ready for some adventure? Let’s combat the heat with some whitewater rafting with Quest Expedition! You will experience over 17 major rapids on this 5 mile stretch of the Ocoee. No experience is necessary but everyone must be 12 years of age or older. Teens will need: sack lunch, snack, water, swimsuit & cover up, close toed shoes, dry clothes to change into, towel, sunscreen and a trash bag for wet clothes. The sky’s the limit as we climb the 45 foot rappelling wall at Deer Run Retreat center. After repelling we’ll break for lunch and then play sand volleyball before hitting the lake for some swimming, aqua park with blob, zip line, water slides and more! Teens will need: sack lunch, snack, water, swimsuit & cover up, close toed shoes, dry clothes to change into, towel, sunscreen and a trash bag for wet clothes. Nashville Shores We will enjoy a fun filled day at the exciting water park. Enjoy the wave pool, lazy river and the Kowabunga beach that has 4 colorful slides and a bucket that tips hundreds of gallons of water every few minutes. Teens will need: sack lunch, water, snack, swimsuit, change of clothes, towel & sunscreen and a trash bag for wet clothes. Please do not send money for the concession stand for lunch. Finding Summer Fun Around Town Beat the impending “I’m Bored!” by signing your kids up for one or more of WCPR’s Brand New Daytime Field Trips. Fun activities to keep them busy all day long without the commitment to a week-long camp program. Trips will be supervised by WCPR Staff and transportation will be provided by Williamson County school buses. Ages: 6 to 13 year olds Cost: $28 per trip Dates: Every Thursday (June 4th to July 30th), with the exception of Wed. Let’s go see all the different kinds of animals at the Nashville Zoo! You won’t want to miss the Giraffe Savannah, the Red Kangaroos, Alligator Cove and the awesome animal playground! Enjoy going to Sky Zone an indoor trampoline center where you can fill your morning jumping on trampolines with friends. Then we will go to Brentwood Skate Center to roller skate. We will see a movie (to be named later) at the Franklin Theatre. “Kid’s Packs” are available at the concession stand which provide a sample of popcorn, a drink for $4.00. After the movie, we will go to Brentwood Skate Center to roller skate. You will have a blast skating around the rink showing off all your skills on wheels with your friends! Be sure to bring extra money for arcade games & concessions! Lunch will be provided that will include 1 slice of pizza and a soft drink! Also be sure to bring knee high socks & know your shoe size.

Super Hero Training Academy Get ready for an adventure of heroic proportions while learning to be a Super Hero! Using a variety of crafting supplies and pictures you bring from home (dad and child, child, or family) we will create a special gift for Dad. Days: Wednesday & Thursday Dates: 6/17 & 6/18

Open Studio

Open studio offers students a variety of crafting supplies to use their imaginations to create! Each day different supplies will be available. Days: Monday & Tuesday Dates: 6/29 & 6/30

4th of July Parade

Make red, white and blue crafts to celebrate the 4th of July and then we will end with our own parade. Days: Wednesday & Thursday Dates: 7/1 & 7/2

Our projects will be inspired by Chihuly’s Plates of Colors, Hundertwasser’s spirals, Kandinsky’s circles and Matisse’s shapes. Days: Monday & Tuesday Dates: 7/6 & 7/7

Rumble in the Jungle

Lions and Tigers and Monkeys, Oh My! Our projects will be inspired by things we might find in the jungle. Days: Wednesday & Thursday Dates: 7/8 & 7/9

More Bugs!

Eric Carle

Our projects will be inspired by the author Eric Carle. We will read some of his books and then create projects based on the books. Days: Wednesday & Thursday Dates: 7/15 & 7/16

By using our own handprints, we will create oneof-a-kind animals you might see in your backyard. Days: Monday & Tuesday Dates: 7/20 & 7/21

Just Fish

We will be inspired by books, pictures and our imagination to make our own fishy creations. Days: Wednesday & Thursday Dates: 7/22 & 7/23
