In April of every year, the business community, faculty, and students of the Morehouse College Division of Business Administration and Economics come together for the annual E.B. Williams Awards Program.
The awards program, which began in 1979, has two purposes:
• To recognize and award outstanding students for their academic achievements
• To introduce these students to the corporate community
Each year over 100 juniors and seniors within the Division of Business Administration and Economics are honored. This event is named in honor of Dr. Edward B. Williams, a Phi Beta Kappa scholar and the third African American to receive a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University.
Under Dr. Williams’ leadership which lasted for 24 years, the department was positioned to realize the tremendous growth and national recognition it now holds
