Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.

Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.

Hally’s Kitchen

Official equine ambassador for Market Rasen Racecourse

Hally’s Kitchen retired in 2020 following an unsuccessful National Hunt career while in training with Justin Landy, she ran nine times under rules and once in a point-to-point without troubling the judge. She is now owned by Samantha Hunt and is excelling in the show ring!

Hally (as she is known) has competed in several high profile shows including the RoR finals at Hickstead and in an SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse qualifier at Burghley Horse Trials.

Samantha describes Hally as kind and laid-back - she loves cuddles and being groomed!

Retraining of Racehorses

RoR is British Horseracing’s official charity for the welfare of horses that have retired from racing. The charity offers education for owners, establishes retraining practices and promotes the versatility of former racehorses in competitions across various disciplines.

The Horses for Courses scheme, supported by Godolphin, showcases the wide range of disciplines that racehorses go on to enjoy after their racing careers have ended, providing racegoers with an ongoing opportunity to meet and learn more about racing’s biggest stars – the horses!

Probable S.P’s: 5-2 Orderoftheday (IRE), 3-1 Kykorock (FR), 13-2 Espresso Milan (IRE), Silver Hill (IRE), 12-1 He’s A Diamond (IRE), Warfleet (GB), 16-1 Bel Ombre (IRE), 40-1 Away For The Night (IRE)

The market will no doubt prove informative with all bar Warfleet making their Rules debut. However, preference is for ORDERBYTHEDAY, who was successful on his second of 2 starts in Irish points back in the spring. Second choice is Kykorock, who is also a point winner and represents the in-form Skelton outfit, with Espresso Milan and Silver Hill taken to fight out minor honours.

The Great British Bonus (GBB) offers multiple bonuses of up to £20,000 per eligible race for British-bred fillies and mares.
