Parks & Recreation The Farragut Parks & Recreation Department provides award-winning facilities and programming for all ages. Facilities include our new community center, five parks, including the new Blue Cross Healthy Place at Town Hall, and the Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza at the Campbell Station Inn. Farragut also boasts a robust network of greenways and sidewalks. More information about facilities, events, programs and rentals is available at farragutparksandrec.org or by calling 218-3376. FARRAGUT COMMUNITY CENTER: 239 Jamestowne Blvd: The community center opened to the public in March 2020 and offers space for programming and rentals, including two classrooms, a middle school-sized gymnasium with a stage and the Assembly Hall - an event venue that can seat 144 at tables or hold 308 standing, as well as a pre-function area and catering kitchen. The building also houses the West Knox County Senior Center on the lower level. PARKS: The Town has five distinctive parks, as well as the Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza. Many have amenities that can be reserved by contacting the Parks & Recreation Department at 865-218-3375 • Anchor Park, 11730 Turkey Creek Road ​A 19-acre, family-friendly park, Anchor Park is located adjacent to the lakefront. The Town’s first park offers opportunities for picnicking, fishing, playground fun or quiet areas to simply read or relax. ​Facilities: fishing pond, horseshoe pit, paved walk trail (0.8 mi), playground, recreational basketball court, rectangular field, softball field, two accessible fishing piers, three picnic pavilions with grills, restroom with additional picnic facility.

• Blue Cross Healthy Place at Farragut Town Hall, 11408 Municipal Center Drive An inclusive, multi-generational play space that includes a ramped playground with freestanding play elements like an accessible merry-go-round and musical instruments, a swing area with inclusive swing seats, a community pavilion with picnic tables and a fitness station. • Founders Park, at Campbell Station, 405 N. Campbell Station Road This passive, 17-acre park is adjacent to the Farragut Branch of the Knox County Library. ​Facilities: two picnic pavilions with grills, lighted paved walk trail (0.4 mile), unlighted paved trail on the west side of Turkey Creek (0.67-mile loop), mulched walk trails (0.25 mile in five segments), Community Heritage trail, bronze sculptures, restroom. ​Special events: Founders Park at Campbell Station is available for rent to non-profit organizations seeking to hold a special event that falls within the guidelines of the Town of Farragut’s Special Event Ordinance. Organizations should call 218-3376 for more information. • Mayor Bob Leonard Park, 301 Watt Road ​One of the premier sports complexes in the region, Mayor Bob Leonard Park is a 50-acre multi-use facility offering athletic and recreational opportunities for a variety of activities. The wetlands area at the center of the park, encircled by a lighted walk trail, is a unique feature. ​Facilities: five rectangular fields (three lighted), four lighted diamond fields, lighted playground, covered picnic table,lighted paved walk trails (up to 0.9-mile loop ADA accessible, or 1-mile loop with incline), three lighted sand volleyball courts, two restrooms.
