There is always something to do in the resort from the summer luge run to crazy golf, from golfing to hiking, you can reach the higher altitudes with the cable cars from the resort. There are also great restaurants, a fantastic ice rink with a children’s ice garden, and a flying fox. There really is something for everyone.

There is a wide range of activities for all ages, a play area for children at the bottom of the resort, a summer luge run, ice rink and the indescribable “big air bag,” great fun! There is also a swimming pool, MTB, hiking, with or without the ski lifts, canyoning, horse riding, a great crazy golf and a cinema. There is so much to do for my daughter and as we were staying in a hotel was had the added advantage of the Kid’s Rule card! I’m a big fan of the new Jument enduro track, opened in 2017, it’s a good fun track to start the day with! Then of course there is « La Trace » that I’m sure you’ve already discovered on Le Domain, it’s going to get even bigger in 2018 with your help during a work together weekend, and a big thank you to those who have already joined in! For more speed and a completely different genre, try the permanent Beauregard track which encompasses nice straight lines, jumps and berms. We’re in the process of putting together some off beat videos, we have done some snow shots and a mix of MTB and paragliding, I’ve got a few more ideas up my sleeve. But I’m counting on you too for some new ideas ;-) See you on the tracks on the Domaine!”

Instagram and the Aravis are a great combination, with posts full of fun and escapism. One of the prominent figures of the “outdoor instagrammers” is Clément Hudry.

LCM : What is your favourite panoramic view of the Aravis ?

La Clusaz Mag’ (LCM) : What exactly is an instagrammer ? Clément Hudry (CH) : : For me, an instagrammer isn’t necessarily someone who spends all their time sharing their entire life on Instagram. It’s more someone who wants to tell a story in images from their own perspective about a particular interest.. My favourite “instagrammers” have all got their own style and that little something extra that encourages me to follow them. I think that’s what it means

CH : My favourite would have to be for the atmosphere in the Cheminées de Sallanches, one of the access routes to the la Pointe Percée (2752 m). It’s a beautiful, exposed route cut into the rock, it is as if the whole massif stretches out under your feet. I love going there in autumn when it’s all misty, the atmosphere can change from one second to the next and is really feel cut off from the world. But I also love the Tardevant ridge which is much more family friendly and accessible in the axis of the Mont Blanc. I go up there at least 20 times a year on skis or even in trainers.

Each year, 10,000 visitors flock to the resort to enjoy the proud display of local expertise put on by the farmers and craftsmen. The day is filled with entertainment, from the parade of local costumes right through to the evening meal. Come and see the animals and extravagant floats parade through the village, enjoy a display of local folk dancing, watch the milking of cows and goats, the donkey derby, taste the bread cooked in the traditional communal oven, witness lively exhibitions of ancestral craftsmanship, try to slide down an artificial ski slope on planks of wood, and not forgetting of course the traditional Reblochon production in a gigantic copper cauldron.

The public will be asked to participate in the judging of the riders. Many surprises and gifts await the spectators and participants.

SUR UNE IMAGE CONTRASTÉE : Il est ici question d’appréciation, la priorité étant de garder la lisibilité du logo, nous veillerons à un contraste entre le logo et le fond supérieur à 50%. Si l’image de fond empêche la bonne lecture du logo, il sera alors envisageable de le disposer sur un encadré rectangulaire de fond blanc ou bleu (pour un logotype en resefve blanche).
