WHAT’S NEW IN MISSION
LE DOMAINE
MOUNTAIN BIKING AREA 30 minutes from Annecy and located in the heart of the mountain forests, the resort, known as “Le Domaine”, welcomes you to its natural mountain biking area. There are more than 125km of marked tracks available to you, including 19 tracks of varying levels, from discovery trails to enduro trails, and a Bike Park, all served by 3 lifts. The 19 routes in La Clusaz enable you to explore its mountains from top to bottom and in all directions. It is a truly extraordinary resort, with large preserved areas, mountain pastures and marked tracks, suitable for children and adults, beginners or experts! Whether you’re looking for a recreational or cultural track, a reflective ride or enduro thrills, there is something for every preference and level.
Thanks to the millennial generation, athletes 3.0 are discovering new ways to make a living. These athletes are taking part in fewer competitions, but more commonly using videos and social media, with an improved media coverage through the creation of their own content. Mountain biker Kilian Bron is riding the wave of this new type of innovative athletes who successfully manage their own image. A passionate ambassador for La Clusaz and widely involved in the development of the resort’s mountain biking tracks, Kilian takes his bike where no-one has yet ventured. 2019 will see the release of “Mission”, a documentary about his life, but also an “in-house” Mission EP for La Clusaz.
A NEW TRACK «LE TOUR DU DANAY»
This summer, the resort is unveiling a new 13km track in the forest. The route is accessible to families and consists of a full circuit in the heart of the forest, starting from Les Confins and passing Saint Jean-de-Sixt and Le Grand Bornand. The bike ride is long enough to immerse yourself in nature and switch off.
*Kilian Bron : see the following page **Bike park: A man-made park with mountain biking ramps All the descriptions of the mountain biking trails on WWW.LACLUSAZ.COM
LA CLUSAZ IS MAKING THE FUN LAST EVEN LONGER!
The end of the summer doesn’t have to mean the end of the mountain biking season, and La Clusaz is extending its opening period for the first time. The resort will now open the Beauregard and Patinoire chairlifts for the first two weekends of September: Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th, as well as Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th. It’s an Endless Summer at La Clusaz! More information can be found on the website www.laclusaz.com

2019
LA CLUSAZ’S CHAMPIONS MORGANE KILIAN CHARRE
BRON
Morgane Charre has a smile that hides a fiercely competitive spirit. She is considered one of the most passionate mountain bikers within her sport. After having reached the top in 2012 with her Downhill World Champion title and her 9 world podium positions, she continues to compete all over the world. And the resort is where she found the varied tracks and wild spaces that she loves.
Originally from Annecy, Kilian Bron has been mountain biking since he was young. He started off with mainly downhill tracks, always in search of adrenaline and that feeling of flying. He then began his travels around the world, cycling from Indonesia to New Zealand, passing through Hawaii...Today he divides his time between enduro races and making videos and photos.
• 29 years old • Downhill / Enduro
« The variety of tracks is what I like at La Clusaz. I like to ride on the resort’s mapped-out tracks but also the routes that are in the middle of nature and are accessible from the resort! »
• 27 years old • Enduro / Freeride / Trips around the world
« La Clusaz is a fully-equipped mountain biking resort that’s accessible to all and for all disciplines. It’s rare to find a resort that satisfies everyone! »
PRACTICAL INFORMATION ADRIEN SEIMETZ
• 21 years old • Enduro / Freeride
Adrien Seimetz is the resort’s rookie mountain biker. Cycling before he could walk, he has been riding his bike in La Clusaz’s mountains since he was a child. He knows the resort’s tracks and routes like the back of his hand! « The La Clusaz resort is splendid: there are so many exceptional panoramas and varied landscapes in both forests and mountain pastures. Mountains exactly how I like them! »
