Quality Care and Luxury Living Located in the market town of Wellington, adjacent to Wrekin Court, Wellington Court provides accommodation and support for physically disabled men and women of all ages.
Accommodation is also available for respite care and short stays, as well as for symptom control. Qualified nursing staff are on duty 24 hours a day. We also offer specialist day care for those needing a little day to day support. The 30 single en-suite bedrooms offer residents the opportunity to be as independent as possible, whilst the large open plan sitting room and conservatory are perfect for day time activities.
Tailored to You We pride ourselves in treating each resident as an individual, with the dignity and respect they deserve, ensuring our staff have the time and resources to get to know the residents they are caring for.
We celebrate the independence of each resident in our home whether it’s through the personal care programme you receive, your food and dietary choices, or, even through your Lifebook - a personal journey, detailing key events and milestones through pictures. Our teams have been trained to the highest standards to care with compassion and sensitivity as well as having the correct skill set to manage your well being. Our care services are individually designed and tailored to meet and support your needs.
Social Wellbeing Day to day life should be enjoyable and they say variety is the spice of life. At Wellington, this enjoyment can often be found when watching a good film, enjoying an afternoon tea at our summer parties, by having a day out with friends or simply by maintaining a sense of independence.
At Wellington we have a dedicated Social Life Coordinator who is part of the core care team. The Social Life Coordinator’s role is to ensure that the quality care and compassion you receive from the nursing staff is supplemented by a focus on your social wellbeing. These activities offer the chance to mix with other residents, family and friends, as you wish, but importantly help to maintain a fulfilling daily lifestyle to create new stories and continue to learn new skills, which is essential to the care we offer at Wellington. But, if you need five minutes to yourself, then you can enjoy our peaceful lounges and while away the day reading a good book.
