We Care “My aim is to raise the profile of Stretton Hall in the local area whilst providing the highest quality of care to people with nursing needs through to palliative care.� Jonathan qualified in 1991, originally as a Learning Disability Nurse but has worked in the Elderly Care sector since 2001, gaining experience and skill in this area.
Jonathan has six years’ experience working for Morris Care as a Deputy Nurse Manager at Isle Court Nursing Home and now leads a team of 60 plus staff at Stretton Hall and is highly committed to ensuring the residents receive the highest quality care.

Quality Care and Luxury Living Set in the heart of the village of All Stretton, Church Stretton, the Nursing Home provides exceptional standards of day, short and long term care for frail older people, with specialist care for those who are mentally frail, and palliative care for the terminally ill.
The 18th century Hall has been redeveloped by Morris Care to create 50 luxuriously appointed single bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, as well as state of the art equipment. Bedrooms are spacious and some retain original period features, whilst others overlook the beautiful Shropshire Hills. The home houses cinema rooms and a restaurant. Elegant sitting and dining areas are an ideal meeting place for residents to socialise, entertain their friends and relatives and to pursue individual pastimes.
Tailored to You We pride ourselves in treating each resident as an individual, with the dignity and respect they deserve, ensuring our staff have the time and resources to get to know the residents they are caring for.
We celebrate the independence of each resident in our home whether it’s through the personal care programme you receive, your food and dietary choices, or, even through your Lifebook - a personal journey, detailing key events and milestones through pictures. Our teams have been trained to the highest standards to care with compassion and sensitivity as well as having the correct skill set to manage your wellbeing. Our care services are individually designed and tailored to meet and support your needs.
Social Wellbeing Day to day life should be enjoyable and they say variety is the spice of life. At Stretton, this enjoyment can often be found when watching a good film, enjoying an afternoon tea at our summer parties, by having a day out with friends or simply by maintaining a sense of independence.
At Stretton Hall we have a dedicated social life coordinator who is part of the core care team. The Social Life Coordinator’s role is to ensure that the quality care and compassion you receive from the nursing staff is supplemented by a focus on your social wellbeing. If you need five minutes to yourself, you can enjoy our landscaped grounds and beautiful views or you can while away the day watching the sunset over the idyllic Shropshire fields. These activities offer the chance to mix with other residents, family and friends, as you wish, but importantly help to maintain a fulfilling daily lifestyle to create new stories and continue to learn new skills, which is essential to the care we offer at Stretton.
