Challain-la-Potherie, France Last autumn, Max Guo said “I do” to his princess, Mandy Liang in a fairytale wedding held at an enchanted 19th-century French château. The bride wore a custom-designed ball gown from Ines Di Santo and sparkly, Cinderella-esque Jimmy Choo heels. Lavender, Mandy’s favourite flower, was incorporated into the stationery suite and wedding favors, while a white stallion-drawn carriage, private fireworks display, and five-tier hand-painted cake further enhanced the day’s magical theme.

GALIA LAHAV This season, the designers behind Galia Lahav’s Victorian Affinity collection were inspired by the overlapping aesthetics of England’s Victorian era and France’s Belle Époque, as well as the changes and innovations these periods brought with them. Alongside Victorian motifs of high collars and full sleeves, emphasis is put on voluminous skirts and modern fabric combinations, with a colour palette featuring dusted silver, washed pinks and smoky blush.
