Principal’s Tea Party Our most recent Principals’ Tea Party was attended by some of our wonderful Year 5 children. The children told us how much they were enjoying their Creative Curriculum topic focussing on World War II and that they had really learned a great deal from their visit from “Sir Teacha-lot”. They were great company and it is wonderful to hear how much the children are enjoying their learning. Keep it up!

Recently, however we have had a number of parents raising concern about the safety of children due to cars failing to stop at the zebra crossing. In order to keep our children safe, We have also had several parents raising concern about inconsiderate parking outside school which is making it difficult for children to cross roads safely. Please consider all of our children when parking near school.

keen to keep you updated on events in school. To develop this further we have started a Principal’s Blog. Mrs Hayes, Mrs Rickersey and Miss Slinn will be making regular posts on life at Monteney. Look out for this on the school website.

We will be getting in touch with some of you soon to arrange Structured Conversations so we can further discuss how to support your child’s learning. We look forward to meeting with you soon

Monteney Uniform Recycling Centre Wearing school uniform is one of our Monteney Standards and we promote this at all times with the children. In order to support this further we are starting a Uniform Recycling Centre (URC). If you have any pre-loved uniform that your child(ren) no longer requires please bring this into school. All uniform received will be laundered and then made available for parents for a small donation. Any money raised will go to school funds. Look out for the Grand opening of the URC coming soon.
