Creativity Our Skill for Learning this half term is Creativity. We want children at Monteney to be creative learners who take risks, explore, are imaginative and are inspired by the creativity of others. Help your child be creative by asking them to think of lots of possibilities to

problems, to try new things and to share their original ideas.

Principal’s Tea Party We held our first Principal’s Tea Party on Thursday 12th September. Children from Year 6 were chosen to have afternoon tea with Mrs Hayes and Mrs Rickersey. The Tea Party gives us an excellent opportunity to speak to children and find out their views about school. The Year 6 children were very positive about their transition to Year 6, especially the early transition they took part in before the summer. They were also looking forward to all the exciting things they would get to do in Y6.
