Healthy Schools Policy

Y2 and Y4 Class choices It is that time of year again when we are considering the mixing up of all our Y2 and Y4 children to form the 2 new classes for Y3 and Y5 for September 2011.

If you have a specific reason or comments to

make about which friends you would like your child to maybe be with, please can I have these in writing by Friday July 1st.

These will then be discussed with the current class teachers and

looked at in conjunction with the 3 choices your children are also making.

We emphasise that there is no guarantee that your child will be with who you want as we need to balance our classes in both years.

Possible Strike I have to alert you to the possibility of disruption to classes on Thursday June 30th following the decision by 2 teachers unions to call a strike which has been publicised in the media.

I will confirm details of this and if your child’s class is affected.

New School Text Messaging Service We are pleased to inform you that following the success of the recent text message service to you and following your positive comments, we have made the decision to keep this as a means of communicating with you. Please keep us informed of any changes to mobile numbers to ensure messages get to you on time.

dismissed from class your children stay are causing problems with you and you are monitoring their bewhilst in your care.
