Our family has been using YLEO for over 5 years, ever since my health challenges from breast cancer and my husband’s brain attack. We are thankful for both of these challenges because we began to REALY look at the products we were allowing to cross the threshold of our home. (Click HERE to read more of our story.) The best decision we ever made — kick toxic chemicals to the curb and start using natural tools to increase and support our wellness. And I’m so glad you have jumped on the clean bandwagon too! We discovered that essential oils can naturally help with our seasonal symptoms, gut support, hormone balancing, a GOOD night’s sleep, anxious thoughts, conquering coughs, annoying aches, and soooo much more. And all of Young Living’s products are infused with their wonderful oils to increase the effectiveness of supplements, shampoos, mouthwash, etc. My name is Julie Eskridge and I am a Certified Aroma Freedom Practitioner. I am not a medical professional and cannot diagnose, treat or cure any ailments. My passion is to help people understand the oily lifestyle to make their life-stories AMAZING!

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS (EO)? When we “squeeze” (distill or cold press) the oil out of a natural plant, we get a very concentrated substance which is the essence of the original plant. It takes hundreds of pounds of peppermint plants to dry, distill and turn into one bottle of Peppermint essential oil. They are very concentrated and are unique compared to fatty oils like olive, almond, or coconut oil. We call these fatty oils, carrier oils, because they have large molecules to help “carry” the oils into your skin. Essential Oil molecules are very tiny (40 million trillion molecules in every drop) and they are volatile (they evaporate into the air.) The size of the molecules are so small and absorb rapidly into the skin, into our cells and even pass through the blood brain barrier to enter our brain tissue. Not many substances can do this which makes essential oils a natural way to promote brain health, cell health and other areas of our body that other substances can’t penetrate. When you dilute an essential oil with a fatty oil (carrier oil), the tiny EO molecules ping pong off the larger fatty oil molecules, causing slower absorption rate into your skin. If you are new to oiling, please use a carrier oil when applying EO to your body. TWO HIGHLY RECOMMMENED DOCUMENTARIES: STINK and ANCIENT SECRETS OF ESSENTIAL OILS

There Are Three Basic Ways To Use Essential Oils: Aromatherapy (Inhalation)

Topically (Skin)

Ingesting (Swallowing)

Inhalation Inhalation is anything that goes through your olfactory system (smell) which travels into the limbic system of your brain. The limbic system is linked to emotions, heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory, stress, and hormone balance. In this way, essential oils can have a subtle, yet holistic effect on the body. The oil molecules also go into your respiratory system which is connected to your bloodstream. As you can see, or rather smell, inhalation is an extremely effective way to get essential oils into your body. There are several ways to reap the benefits of aromatherapy.  Put a few drops into your hand, rub hands together, and cup over nose and mouth. Take 10 slow, deep breaths into your nose.  Open the bottle and sniff.  An ultra sonic diffuser, like the one that came with your kit, is a great way to spread the incredible EO molecules to the whole household. (If you are new to EO, just add 1 drop to your diffuser at first and work your way up to 8-10 drops.) YL diffusers function as a humidifier, atomizer, and aroma diffusers...check out all your choices HERE for your next diffuser purchase.

Topically The skin is our biggest organ. When we apply EO to our skin, the oils are absorbed in our bloodstream through pores and hair follicles to be dispersed to our body systems and other organs. Apply EO to pulse points such as wrists, temples, back of neck and inner elbows. Most essential oils should be diluted with a carrier oil. It’s very easy...add 1 drop of carrier oil in the palm of your hand and add 1-2 drops of EO and mix clockwise with your fingers (our DNA runs clockwise and this gets the oils moving with our body rhythm.) If you are brand new to oiling, add 3 drops of carrier oil to every drop of EO. Apply to the tummy area for digestive support, behind your ears or neck as a perfume or cologne, or rub on sore muscles. (See dilution chart for children under 12 on the next page.) Applying EO to the bottom of your feet is an excellent way to target certain areas of your body. (See Vita Flex chart on the page 6.)  You can also mix up a diluted batch in a dropper bottle from Amazon. PRO TIP: Save all of your empty essential oil bottles so you can mix up your own special blends. But make sure you put a label on it describing what’s inside. I’ve got lots of bottles and no clue what I conjured up! (I’ve got lots of empty bottles if you need some!)  You can also apply softer EO “neat” (without a carrier oil.) like Lavender, Frankincense, and Stress Away. Just apply directly to skin without a carrier oil. However, if you have sensitive skin or using them in sensitive areas, diluting is recommended. Some people always dilute their oils, it is a personal choice.  Adding essential oils to bath salts or mixing them in your moisturizer, body lotion, shampoo, bath gel, etc. is another great way to get essential oils on your body. 

Internally (Ingesting) This is a hot topic in the essential oil world. Please do your research so you can be confident in your decision whether to ingest or not to ingest. Hmmm, that is the question... The FDA treats essential oils as “fragrance” under the larger umbrella of “cosmetics” so even essential oils labeled as USDA organic can contain ingredients other than essential oils and they don’t have to disclose it. Oils sold as “fragrance” are exempt under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (FPLA) because “This law is not allowed to be used to force a company to tell ‘trade secrets.’ Fragrance and flavor formulas are complex mixtures of many different natural and synthetic chemical ingredients, and they are the kinds of cosmetic components that are most likely to be ‘trade secrets.’” This is why it is so important to know and trust your source, especially if you intend to use these products on your body or in your food. Please, please, PLEASE do not ingest essential oils you buy at the store. In fact, most oils you buy at the store (even “organic” ones) will say right on the label “NOT FOR INTERNAL USE” and this is because they are sold as fragrance. Young Living is the ONLY company that is GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) certified by the FDA. So you can ingest with confidence... once you do your research. I personally ingest oils daily while others choose just to use them topically or aromatically. EO should be used in small quantities and not for an extended period of time. If you are taking a really strong oil like Oregano, don’t take them more than 2 weeks in a row. So which oils are safe to ingest? Fortunately, Young Living has a Vitality line of essential oils specifically labeled for internal use with directions on how to do so safely. There’s no difference in purity and authenticity when it comes to our Vitality™ oils and our topical/ aromatic oils, but our Vitality line is clearly labeled for internal use. When used in the proper, instructed amounts, Young Living Vitality oils provide you the freedom to share and explore essential oils in nutritious and delicious ways. Here are just a few ways to use essential oils internally:  Add a drop to your water or tea. (Add EO first and then add liquid for better mixing or the oils will sit on top of the water.) I like to add a drop of Lime to Corona and a drop of Orange to Blue Moon. Be creative! PRO TIP: Always use glass, ceramic or stainless steel vessels when ingesting essential oils...never put oils in plastic containers because these oils are very potent and will break down the plastic.)  Adding essential oils to Clear Vegetable Capsules is an excellent way to get essential oils into your digestive tract

for greater wellness benefits. (YL capsules have a thicker base to bypass the stomach and absorb in digestive tract.) Always top off your capsule with olive oil to help your system absorb the oils. (I use a dropper bottle for my carrier oil to easily fill capsules.)  Always take capsules with food or a fatty drink – nut milk, milk, rice milk, almond milk, etc. Essential Oils are attracted to fats and will adhere to them vs sitting on top of just water in your stomach and concentrating in one spot which can cause tummy discomfort for a minute. (This also applies with any Young Living supplement like Inner Defense, Super B, Super C, Super Cal Plus, MultiGreens, Master Formula, etc.)  My favorite capsule recipe is for those days when I feel achy in my joints and just plain BLAH! I add 3 drops each of Thieves, Lemon, Frankincense and Oregano to an empty capsule and then top off with olive oil. I’ll make 3 capsules and store them upright in a small jar of rice and place in the refrigerator. I take 1 capsule, 3x a day and I feel like my energetic self again!  Adding essential oils to your recipes really makes the flavor POP! For example: Adding 8 drops of Peppermint oil to

your brownie mix or fudge recipe or Orange into your waffle batter takes your recipes over the top! Check out my favorite recipe WEBSITE for more ways to add essential oils to your culinary creations.

For more information on using essential oils for children, please refer to the Young Living Blog HERE. Always read directions on all labels. And check out the KidScents line of products which are already perfectly diluted for children. Also check out the Seedlings line of products to give your baby the best start in life.

The Vita Flex technique is a powerful ancient Tibetan transformational methodology brought to the US in the 1920s by Stanley Burroughs. It is a very effective method used alone or with other modalities like essential oils. For more information on how Vita Flex works in the body, click HERE. Overall, essential oils are a safe, effective and approachable tool that anyone can use to improve their health and happiness with a simple basic understanding of the following guidelines. 

Start slow. If you're brand new to essential oils, we recommend you start with 1 drop to help your body get acclimated to the oils. Oils can have some detoxifying reactions in your body and can act like a purge. Some people report mild headaches, tummy discomfort, or rashes when they first begin using essential oils ...which usually means your using too much too fast. Drink plenty of water to help your body get use to the oils.

Always perform the patch test when using an oil for the first time. Add 1 drop to your forearm and wait 6 hours. If no reaction, your body will accept that oil. If your body needs adjusting to the oil, a rash may occur at the sight or somewhere else in your body (because remember anything you put on your body is in your bloodstream in 26 seconds!) You can put a closed bottle of the oil in your pocket for 1 week to allow your body to adjust to the oil.

Check the label directions on every bottle for aromatic, topical or ingesting usage.

When in doubt, dilute. Diluting is always a safety precaution especially when new to oils or using an oil for the first time. If you get a burning sensation when applying an oil neat on your skin, top it with a carrier oil and it will ease the sensation immediately. Do not wash with water…water drives it in more.

Quality matters A LOT! Most oils on the market today are adulterated. Some have been partially or totally manufactured out of synthetic material in a laboratory, or mixed with some undisclosed ingredients that can be dangerous. The lack of oversight and regulation in the industry has created an abundance of dishonest marketing. Even if it says organic, natural, pure doesn’t always mean what it implies. The FDA only requires a company to add 5% essential oil to be called 100% pure.

Click on the links if you have pets, babies, and/or small children in your home, there are some guidelines around them. Quality truly matters with this population.

Some essential oils, mostly citrus oils, are photosensitive and can create an exaggerated sunburn when applied topically to the skin and then exposed to sunlight. We highly recommend using citrus oils topically at night or make sure the area is not exposed to sunlight for 6 hours after application.

If ou are taking pharmaceuticals, please check with your doctor or medical advisor who is familiar with essential oils to make sure no cross reactions occur. Essential oils are very potent and they do so much in our body. EO may enhance a certain medicine or support a certain disease, which could be a good thing, but please get approval from a reputable source before using EO.

If you are pregnant or nursing, same precautions apply. Some oils should not be used until 2nd and 3rd trimester, if at all. Please check with your medical professional who is familiar with holistic wellness.

Never put oils directly in your ear canal or eyes. If you happen to get EO in your eye, dip a cotton swab in a fatty carrier oil and rub along bottom eyelid. Frankincense is a wonderful EO for those fine lines that appear out of no where but make sure to only apply essential oils on the bones surrounding your eye. Have ear discomfort? Tear a cotton ball in half, add a drop of Raven or RC to the cotton ball and place just inside the ear for 10 minutes. This helps to diffuse the oils in the ear canal and around the ear.

Keep EO out of reach of small children.

Store away from heat and sunlight. Keep caps tightly sealed to prevent evaporation.

Did you notice that some bottles have white labels? Those are the dietary (ingesting) oils from Young Living that have been approved by the FDA for consumption called GRAS — Generally Recognized As Safe. YL is the ONLY company to have this status...which is HUGE in the oily world! This line of oils is called Vitality. Chef Kate McAloon, Young Living Brand Ambassador and Chef-to-the-Stars, knows how to WOW your recipes with Vitality Oils. Click HERE for her delish recipes! Also, RecipesWithEssentialOils.com has easy to make recipes that will POW your food and WOW your family and guests.

PRO TIP: Young Living's Essential Oils and Vitality oils are the exact same oil. Vitality (white label) is labeled for internal usage and the solid color labels for topical and aromatic usage but are equal in every way–they come from the same farms, from the same plants, are bottled the same way, and so on. The only difference is the label. So if you have a Peppermint Vitality bottle and a green labeled YL Peppermint bottle, they are the same oil. SAME OIL DIFFERENT LABEL Ping me if you have questions on the labels.

I had to apologize to my family a couple of years ago because I used to buy the heavily scented candles and burn them 24/7. Little did I know that one hour of burning these candles is equivalent to smoking one cigarette!!! No wonder we always had respiratory issues! Now, diffusing essential oils is my BAE (Before Anything Else) because is adds joy, peacefulness or focus to our entire home. There are so many wonderful combinations you can add to your diffuser to make your home a safe place to breathe. Got questions on how to work your diffuser? Please give me a call. Yes, the Young Living AromaGlide roller fitments (roller balls) come with instructions, but you would be surprised how many times people have asked me how to put these little things on the bottle. Click HERE for a quick 2 minute video...you’ll quickly say, “That was easy!” A lot of people, yep - me included, immediately put it on their bottle of Stress Away, which is perfect. It is a gentle oil that doesn’t need diluting with a carrier oil. Swipe a little on your wrists and rub together for the oil to absorb into your skin. No mess, no fuss! I also put one on my bottle of Valor because it’s the bomb-diggity when you need some courage fast! Just a little swipe on your wrist and you are ready for battle...or bedtime routines. PRO TIP: Stick with the YL Roller Balls. I’ve ordered others on Amazon but they fall apart in no time and oil goes everywhere!! YL’s have metal balls and super durable plastic (like their diffusers) so add them to your next order. (Item #4578, 10 pack, $10.50 wholesale, 0pv) WHY THE WRIST? The inner wrist is another common location to apply roll-on essential oils because the wrist is a pulse point. Your radial artery runs along the inside of your wrist, which makes it easy for your body to absorb essential oils into the bloodstream. OTHER AREAS TO ROLL ON YOUR OILS  Ankles: This is another pulse point with the posterior tibial artery.  Abdomen: The abdomen is a particularly great spot to apply oils when experiencing any sort of tummy issues, such as nausea, indigestion, or bloating.  Side of the neck: Your carotid artery runs along each sides of your neck and supply your brain and head with blood, which makes that area another pulse point and great for emotional balance.  Inner elbow: This is yet another pulse point and our skin is thinner for better absorption.  Chest: Applying oils to the chest is especially great when you need some respiratory support as you can also breathe in the oil while it is absorbed through your skin.  Problem spots: Roll-ons are great for applying oils directly to problem areas, such as insect bites or skin spots.  Back of the knees: As yet another pulse point, this spot has the popliteal artery running through it. You will soon find your favorite place to roll on your oils. Just keep rolling, rolling, rolling, rawhide! How much do I roll on?  Each 2” stroke is equivalent to about one drop, so a quick swipe on your skin with a topical essential oil and you are ready to go! Properly securing the cap is critical to avoid leaking and to ensure the fitment is properly inserted. Roller Bottles should be stored in an upright position to prevent leaking. What recipes can I use in a rollerball? Luckily, you can use LOTS of recipes in a roller ball bottle. Just G(OIL)GLE (that’s Google in the oiler world) “YL roller blends.” (Make sure you add Young Living so you get the correct recipe.) Turn the page for sleepy time oils.

Here are some of our favorite nighttime essential oils for blending:  Bergamot Essential Oil  Cedarwood Essential Oil  Frankincense Essential Oil  Gentle Baby Essential Oil  Geranium Essential Oil  Joy Essential Oil  Lavender Essential Oil  Roman Chamomile Essential Oil  Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Essential Oil  Vetiver Essential Oil BEDTIME ROLLER BLENDS Add up to 5 drops of your fave oil (or several of your faves) above into an empty 5mL (for a 10mL bottle double the drops) then top off with fractionated coconut oil. Don’t forget to label your bottles so you know what’s in it. For children over 2 years old, dilute roll-on blends to about 1% (1 drop of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil). Let the kids roll the blends onto their own feet and then return the bottles to you. The roll-on bottles and essential oil bottles should always be stored safely out of reach of children. If you’re like me, then you don’t like to waste anything and reuse, recycle and restore. So when I empty essential oil bottles I instantly start thinking of what I can do with it! Here are several ways to reuse empty bottles. But, first, we need to wash/sanitize them: Before you reuse your essential oil bottles for a new purpose, make sure to clean them out. I was so surprised the first time I washed one of my bottles to find that the label comes off very easily. Here are the steps I use to wash the bottles: 1. Run some warm water into a clean bowl and use some gentle castile soap or Thieves hand soap. 2. Remove the lid and orifice (reducer insert on top of bottle) and place those in the water to soak. 3. Place the empty bottle into the water. Let it soak for 5 minutes. 4. Remove the label by finding the seam and starting there. Use the soapy water to remove any residue. (If any residue remains then use a drop of Lemon essential oil on the bottle and rub with your fingers. Rinse completely.) 5. Remove the bottle, lid, and orifice from the water, rinse and allow to dry completely before reusing. (To be completely honest with you — which I’ll always be — I don't wash my empty bottles. For example: If I am using a recipe with Lavender, I grab an empty Lavender bottle that I threw in my storage jar without washing it. Are you disappointed in me?) HERE ARE SOME WAYS TO REUSE YOUR EO BOTTLES:  Since you emptied the bottle it’s probably an essential oil you really like, so refill the bottle halfway from the new

bottle you reordered and store the refilled bottle in your purse to carry with you wherever you go. Now you have two bottles of your favorites, one at home and one for on-the-go!  Face Mask Hack Store your empty bottle of spearmint Vitality essential oil (or whatever oil you have) in a reusable bag with your face mask! When it's time to use your mask, your mask smells fresh and clean!!  Make your own beauty serum for overnight trips. This would be great for the overnight facial moisturizer or other

liquid blends you love.  Clean the bottle (or not), fill with your favorite essential oil blend mixed with a carrier oil of your choice, add a roller

ball to the bottle and you have an on-the-go roller blend. Stick one in your purse or kids’ backpacks or hiking packs, to have them on hand when you need them. (P.S. Kids can keep EOs in their school backpacks and use them anytime since they are not considered medications. So if they have a little trouble with focus, they can roll a small swipe on the back of their neck before a test. But it would be a good idea to tell the school nurse that your children use all-natural essential oils, I’m sure she knows all about them anyway.)  Fill the empty bottle with 10 – 20 drops of your favorite essential oil, and give it to a friend to share the joy of es-

sential oils. Or save the empty bottles for when you want to deliver a special mixture to a friend who needs an extra boost. They’ll quickly thank you with lots of hugs!  Before washing the bottle, add a little bit of distilled water (or water appropriate for your diffuser) to the empty EO

bottle, and then pour it into your diffuser. This is a great way to get the last little bits of the precious oils out and still be able to get some aroma benefits from them! Use 2 or 3 different bottles to create a great EO combo.  Store them in a big jar of Epsom salt. The Epsom salt absorbs all the remaining essential oils in the bottle. Then

remove the oil bottles to use the Epsom salt in a glorious bath with all your favorite oils all blended together.  I stick an empty EO bottle with the cap off, in my suitcase when I travel (I put it in the zippered pouch.) I put an empty Thieves bottle in my suitcase when I store it to keep the musty smell away.  You can also hang them from a string of white lights for a festive look to your holidays.  Store them in an open basket on the back of your potties for a pleasing aroma to your bathroom. Need more help:

make this DIY Bathroom Poo Spray! (As you can tell, I LOVE recipeswithessentialoils.com website for all sorts of recipes and DIYs. You’ll want to add this to your FAVES too!

Get ready to be WOWED! There are TWO holes in the plastic orifice reducer on your EO bottles: The middle hole is an air vent. The tiny hole in the well is where the oil comes out. I know….WOWED!!!! Want the oil to come out faster? Aim the small hole downward. Want to the oil to come out slower? Turn small hole upward. This comes in handy when you are filling up capsules. (See Page for the capsule information.) PRO TIP #1: When you get a new bottle of oil, you can line up the small hole in the orifice on the Y of the Young Living label of each bottle so you’ll know exactly where the small hole is. (Remember how we showed you how to take off the plastic orifice and replace with a roller ball? Do the same here only replace the orifice over the Y.) PRO TIP #2: Hold the bottle up to the light to see where the hole is in the well. (But be careful not to spill.) PRO TIP #3: It won’t be long till you are an expert at “feeling” when the oil will drip out and won’t have to line up the small hole anymore.

You are going to LOVE Thieves...Young Living’s most requested essential oil blend because of it’s amazing immunity boosting properties and it smells like Christmas! On page 178 in the Essential Oil Pocket Reference (EOPR) you’ll find how Thieves got it’s name. Open the bottle and take a big whiff of this spicy scent. Thieves is an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal oil blend included in many of YL’s Chemical Free Products. From toothpaste to cough drops to hand sanitizer — with Thieves products, you’ll be on top of your wellness game! Click HERE to see how you can kick toxic chemicals to the curb. WAYS TO USE THIEVES At the first sign of the yuckies, add a drop of Thieves Vitality to your tea bag. Add 3 drops each of Thieves Vitality, Frankincense Vitality, Lemon Vitality and Oregano Vitality in an empty YL capsule and fill the rest of the capsule with olive oil. Take 1 capsule 3x/day until symptoms subside (usually a day or two.) Then apply a drop to those tender neck glands (combine with a drop of carrier oil since Thieves is considered a “hot” oil and may create a warm sensation to your skin. Diffuse everyday to make sure your whole household stays way above the wellness line!  Add a drop to your morning oatmeal to elevate your breakfast.  Add a drop of Thieves and a drop of Lemon Vitality to warm water to soothe a dry throat.  Add to a roller ball bottle and have everyone in the family swipe some on the bottom of their feet every night before bed to keep wellness reigning in your home.

You will soon discover many more ways to use this incredible blend of Cinnamon Bark, Clove, Lemon, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus Radiata. Let me know your faves!

For aromatic, topical and internal use.

PRO TIP: Average number of drops/oil bottle: 15mL = 250 drops 5mL = 75-85 drops 2mL = 34 drops .25mL packets = 4 drops When you reorder, get the 15mL bottles. They are twice as expensive but 3x the oil.

Today, let’s give LAVENDER a try. It is called the Swiss Army oil because it is the most versatile of all oils. Unscrew the top and inhale directly from the bottle to enjoy a more tranquil spirit. Diffuse 20 minutes before bedtime as part of your nighttime routine.  Rub 2-4 drops over armpit area to act as a deodorant.  Dilute 2-5 drops into a 1-ounce spray bottle (available in the travel section of WalMart), shake well and gently mist the air, your pillow or linens for a restful night sleep.  Add 2 drops to a 1/2 cup of unscented Epsom salts for a relaxing nighttime soak.  Apply to ART Intensive Moisturizer for healthy looking skin.  Add 10 drops to your unscented body lotion or shower gel for a calming scent.  Add 1 drop to your new mascara tube for thick, luscious lashes.  Add 1 drop each Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint to a tablespoon and top with LOCAL organic honey. PRO TIP: Peppermint has potent phenols, like onions, so if applying to temples, keep eyes closed for a minute or two.

BE CAREFUL: Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health professional prior to use.

Eat too much for lunch or dinner? This little gem is in my purse at all times! I absolutely love it for tummy troubles and digestive support. I’m not a fan of the scent but others LOVE it. We are all soooo different...and like your kind of different. My favorite way to use Digize Vitality is to add drop under my tongue (called sublingual) which helps sooth my tummy issues. TIP: When you’re new to oiling, sometimes it’s hard to get just one drop out. So add a drop to a spoon and then tip it under your tongue. Add 2-3 drops to a veggie capsule, fill the rest of the capsule with olive oil and take with a fatty liquid like coconut or almond milk or eat a cracker. TIP: It’s OK to take your DIY capsules with water. Sometimes you will burp up the oils. I don’t mind it but some don’t like the aftertaste.

Add a roller ball to the bottle and roll a small swipe on the bottom of your feet where the stomach and intestines are located. (See page 7 for diagram.) PRO TIP #1: Don’t like the scent of an oil or blend? Just add a few drops of your favorite oil to the bottle. For example: Add 10 drops of Spearmint Vitality to your Digize...truly makes it delish, especially if you like Spearmint! PRO TIP #2: Young Living has a whole line of oils just for kids. If Digize is too potent, try TummyGize which is perfect for littles tummies and older tummies too. BE CAREFUL: Keep ALL oils out of reach of children. Oils should always be used with adult supervision.

Use Citrus Fresh for ANYTHING STANKY! Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange, Tangerine, Mandarin and Spearmint essential oils create this inspiring and unique blend. Citrus Fresh is invigorating and bright, with a hint of minty coolness. This oil is a perfect replacement for chemical-based home fresheners. Diffuse 8 drops in the kitchen after cooking a delicious fish dinner with brussel sprouts.  Diffuse anytime you want a mood uplift since it is filled with lots of citrus oils.  Add 1-2 drops to your morning smoothie.  Add a drop to your glass of water (add the oil first, then the water) for a burst of citrus flavor and drink more water throughout the day. We also like to add a drop of Grapefruit Vitality  in the water for an extra boost for weight management.  Use in fruit salads to enhance their flavors.  Add 1-2 drops to plain yogurt and top with granola.  Add 2 drops to salad dressings, vinegar infused dressings, orange muffins  or to your Einkorn Waffle Mix. 

Add a few drops to cotton ball and stick in stanky shoes or gym bags. 

Add a 5 drops to your DIY Thieves Household Cleaner spray bottle for an extra mood boost while you clean.

WARNING: All citrus oils are photosensitivity. Don’t apply topically and then go out in the sun. It can create brown spots on your skin. If you use citrus oils in your moisturizer or DIY skin blemish recipes, only use at night. For aromatic, topical and internal use.

Did you know that our Cortisol (stress) hormone is now called the DEATH hormone? Yeah, you’ll want to put your roller ball on this bottle for sure and roll a behind your ears or on your wrist each morning to help your body stay cool, calm and balanced and feel it’s magic. But beware: people will follow you in the grocery store and ask you what you have on that smells so good and they need it (little do they know, it is lowering their cortisol levels too.)  Add 5 drops to your diffuser before bedtime to help the whole house calm down before retiring.

Add a drop or two to a cotton round and place in your drawers or linen closet for a calming scent.
