Wendover Dementia Action Alliance is delighted to confirm that a Tea Dance has been scheduled for Thursday 19 March from 2pm to 4pm. The venue is St Mary’s Church, Church Lane, Wendover HP22 6NL. This is an inclusive event so it is open to anyone to come and enjoy although people living with dementia and their carers are especially welcome. Several regulars are wheelchair bound but this has never stopped them from joining in the fun. Swing Dance MK lead the session so you don’t even have to know how to dance to come and join in. There is always a break for refreshments. There is no entry fee but donations are welcome.

W e n d o v e r Community Library is able to offer a relaxed film show from time to time for people living with dementia and their carers. According to the licence arrangements, this is also free entry but again, donations are welcome to cover costs. The terms of the licence also mean that the title of the film cannot be advertised to the public in advance but is available if you contact the Library on 01296 387880 for details. The film is shown in the Library Room and refreshments are served. The next film show will be on Tuesday 31 March at 2.30pm.
