Covid Heroes

Back in September we asked for nominations for your Covid-19 heroes. we have had various lockdown scenarios since then so the deadline has been extended again. Thank you for nominations so far. If you have someone to add to the list, please do so by Sunday 28 February.

You will know what this person has been doing but others may not. They may have been just doing their regular job but you will know that they have put to use their own personality and skills to walk the extra mile, making a big difference because of their actions. Their regular job could be being a good neighbour in a truly discreet but caring way.

Please give: • your own name • the name of your nominee • an indication of what your named hero has done for an individual or a group of people.

Santa EcoSleigh

Thank you supporters of the Santa EcoSleigh in December. Our outings were curtailed by events but we were able to collect just over £3000 despite some drizzly evenings.

This is being distributed back to local charities. Our major charity this year is the Chilterns MS Centre, chilternsmscentre. org/. At this time of year we also support a children's charity and this year it is Pace, thepacecentre.org/.

In order to extend our routes, and the numbers of roads covered, we need volunteers. Our Rotary Club is quite small and not the youngest but we welcome anyone who can match our enthusiasm.
