Cpl Craig Baxter-Leggett from Recruit Training Squadron (RTS) took part in a marathon march around the Henderson Parade Square to raise funds and awareness for Combat Stress and Healing Military Minds on 12 March.

During the day he performed many drill checks conducted by Drill Instructors from the Squadron. In the first two hours he had marched almost 7 miles and was on course to complete a marathon distance by the end of the day.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and posttraumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict. Craig said: “This year I took on March in March to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans. I did it to help provide the vital support to ensure veterans get the help and support they need.
