LIONEL ABEL-SMITH TRUST

The 43rd Annual General Meeting of the Lionel Abel Smith Trust (LAST) was held on 28 April via Zoom for the second year running. It was a successful meeting without any Jackie Weaver issues!

We are delighted to announce that LAST issued £142,047 in grants last year, supporting numerous individuals, families and organisations - many of them being Covid-related.

The grants cover many areas of the community and can be broken down as follows: • Education - £45,323 • Medical & elderly - £22,164 • Organisations & Others - £74,560

LAST is proud to have been able to support the community of Wendover during what has been, and continues to be, a very difficult and challenging time. Please be reassured that we are still operating as usual and are always accepting applications from both individuals and organisations all year round.

If you, or someone you know, is in need of assistance and could benefit from being a recipient of our grants, then do contact us via clerk@wendovertrust.org.

Meanwhile, we are working hard to revamp our website so that you can easily apply online from home or on your mobile, as well as get information about LAST, its history and the current trustees. Watch this space…
