Open Farm Sunday - 27 June at Road Farm, Great Missenden

Join us for a wonderful family day out with activities for all ages and stages to celebrate sustainable British Farming at our Open Farm Sunday event.

Enjoy our beautiful farm and the surrounding Chilterns countryside! Meet our mixed farm animals, stroke a goat, enjoy an equine, see a Sheepdog herding, chat with a chicken or perhaps admire the arable crops, machinery or wander amongst the wildlife! Learn about how our farm works to include and encourage wildlife and marvel at biodiversity.

There will be crafts for children and other activities for all, a BBQ and even fresh Pizza from our new Farm to Fork outdoor oven. About the farm Road Farm is a 100Ha family-run farm with arable, sheep, cattle & hens. Wildlife includes skylark, barn owl, harvest mice & pyramidal orchids. It is proud to be a member of the Chalk, Cherries & Chairs farm cluster group, encouraging responsible and sustainable eco-friendly farming.

The farm hosts Countryways CIC (including goats, donkeys, turkeys, rabbits, woodwork) which provides Care Farming interaction to help confidence, skills and well-being plus educational interaction for many. www.roadfarmcountryways.com
