Share Some Sunshine

This summer, Heritage & Sons Funeral Directors are Sharing Some Sunshine with their postcard initiative. Off the back of their successful Forget Me Not: Cards of Kindness initiative that ran in the lead up to Christmas 2020, Sharing Some Sunshine is once again aimed at bringing together members of the local community.

Heritage and Sons, part of CPJ Field, the UK’s oldest funeral directors, are inviting the local Bucks community to make or send a postcard from a holiday that they have been on or would like to go on, that will then be delivered to local care home residents in hopes to brighten up their summer.

Maria Butler, CPJ Field’s Buckinghamshire Community Champion, comments: “Time has flown by since the Forget Me Not initiative started two years ago and to be honest, we have never looked back. The care homes that we are supporting are genuinely grateful for our help and our initiative has been a huge hit not only in Buckinghamshire but throughout all CPJ Field funeral homes.”
