HS2 Construction Update

From now until Christmas, there are several areas of work around Wendover which will involve traffic management on the roads. For the majority of these activities, we are working overnight in order to minimise the disruption for daily road users.

From 22 November to 11 December we will be closing sections of the Wendover bypass as we conclude some topographical surveys which need to be undertaken in the carriage way. These night works will be from 9pm until 5am. Please see the HS2 In Your Area website for the full details and planned diversion routes.

We also have some further vegetation clearance along the A413, London Road, which will require traffic management throughout December.

During the operation for the site clearance along the A413, we experienced a delay to our sheet piling works. These activities will be completed during our Christmas possession of the railway when the remaining piling and bridge demolition works will occur.
