Wendover Celebrates is Back!

After two years of cancellations, we are delighted to announce that Wendover Celebrates 2022 will be going ahead and the date is now confirmed as Saturday 4 June. To coincide with Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we will be hosting an afternoon and evening of celebration combining community events, local food, drink and, of course, music! We are full steam ahead with planning now and would be delighted to hear from any community groups who would like to entertain the crowds in our afternoon arena show.

Further details to follow, but, in the meantime, if you have any questions do contact us on stallswc@gmail.com.

Communi-tea Friends

Communi-tea Friends is a drop-in group which has been meeting since October 2021. It is open to anyone who fancies meeting new people and is led by Maria Butler, a Community Champion from Heritage and Sons, part of the CPJ Fields Group. The time is 1pm to 3pm on Tuesday afternoons so it would be ideal for carers just before they collect children from school, for instance. Communi-tea Friends welcomes anyone. It is neither ageist nor sexist and the venue, Wendover Christian Centre, is accessible. Why not give it a try?
