Plant a tree for Christmas…
...or any time of the year! Let’s fight climate change together. Plant a tree with the National Trust, and support their aim of planting 20 million trees by 2030. Trees breathe life into our world, so plant a tree for yourself, as a gift to someone special or in memory of a loved one. So far 76,000 saplings have been planted, with a mix of 14 species including oak, beech and crab apple. One tree can remove 1 tonne of CO2 from our air over its lifetime!

What our clients are I had long hair down to the bottom of my back that I rarely paid attention to and usually shoved up in a bun. I gave Tony free reign and could not be happier - he cut it to shoulder length and styled beautifully with two of the girls helping out. Everyone has said how much of a great transformation it is and how well the style suits me so a huge thank you to the whole team. So welcoming and friendly too.
The Covid precautions are very good and I felt very comfortable. Staff very friendly and professional.
Lovely friendly salon, great attention to detail, especially keeping everyone covid safe
Great salon. Fabulous colour & amazing cut. Thank you to everyone at Tielsi. Love this salon! I live in North London but will go out of my way to keep coming here. Cannot recommend enough, lovely friendly staff who bend over backwards to accommodate you. Great results with my hair every time. Brilliant!
Like most of us who were in desperate need of a haircut after the lock-down I made an appointment for colour and a cut. I left it all up to Anthony to decide what he thought would look best. Mandy put two colours on and Anthony styled my hair. I couldn't be any happier, my hair is short and falls into place beautifully from the moment I get out of bed in the morning, the colour too is perfect, I couldn't recommend them highly enough They're taking the new regulations very seriously; the salon is extremely clean, and I felt in very safe hands. Thank you to a wonderful team...
Fantastic salon. Very talente love my hair! And the salo all round very pos Fantastic, staff, extremely polite and friendly and knowledgeable and COVID safe. Highly recommend. First visit to Tielsi Hairdressing, lovely staff. Will definitely be returning.

e saying about us... A real gem of a salon, friendly, COVID safe practices and great stylists. Best value hands down (compare them to prices in centre of town) but absolutely no compromise in service or quality. Lauren listens to what you want and shares ideas and gave me a fantastic cut again tonight. The cuts last/grow out well (to me - the sign of a good cut). Tony, the owner, is friendly, welcoming and good fun. Totally 100% recommend this fab and professional salon - topped off with free parking - win:win! Had my hair coloured and cut today by the fabulous Lauren so pleased with the result! And Yasmin gives the most amazing head massage and hair wash. The salon is so clean and welcoming well done Tony!
ed hairdressers, absolutely on was very COVID safe, sitive experience!
I had an incredible balayage done at Tielsi! Lauren was so friendly and did an amazing job on my very long, very curly hair! She was so patient despite my endless knots and the results were fantastic. Great value for the prices they charge, especially in St Albans where other hairdressing salons are very expensive.
I went today for a colour and blow dry as a model for Jasmine she did a lovely job, the other stylist and boss were really friendly and I will definitely be going back I felt very pampered
Always get my hair done by the amazing Lauren! Everyone at Tielsi is so lovely and I always leave feeling incredible. Took me a long time to find a salon that I was happy with but me and my hair are so happy that we found this gem.
Lovely staff, very professional and polite, covid-safe, I have had highlights and a cut and blow dry and they have done a great job, really satisfied about the result. Attention for the Customer is top priority, I would definitely recommend them! Lovely salon with really friendly staff. Just perfect. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The Yarnbombers are back, after last years phenomenal success, raising over £25k. This year they’re aiming for even more Post Box Toppers and to raise even more for their chosen charities; Youth Talk and ADD-Vance. This is only possible because of the amazing creative team, so if you’d like to get involved with anything from crocheting, knitting or sewing to, wielding a hot glue gun or assembling the toppers just email them. They also need good quality wool, individual figures, trees and all sorts of other things! Email: hq@stalbanspostboxes.org.uk
