WENTY LEAGUES | THE JOURNAL | NOVEMBER, DECEMBER 2024 & JANUARY 2025

PRESIDENT’S Report

Dear Members,

As we head into our last journal of the year and I reflect on previous editions of The Journal, it is incredible to see how much can change in a single year. One thing that remains consistent is that our club continues to serve as the perfect place to celebrate milestones, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in family-friendly activities. I look forward to seeing this trend continue further in 2025.

I’m delighted to share that our club has maintained strong performance throughout the first three quarters of the year, and we’re on course for another exceptional annual result. This success has enabled us to increase our contributions to the community through funding, grants, and donations, while also keeping our prices affordable during these challenging financial times.

We are excited to provide an update on the current Entertainment Hub renovation and expansion project. The good news is that Stage 1 of the build is progressing well. Builders have completed the construction stage and have recently completed the roof. This means they are now into the internal fitout stage preparing the space for opening. We are due to deliver Stage 1, early in 2025 and cannot wait to unveil the new space. Immediately, after the handover and opening of Stage 1, Stage 2 will commence with handover and opening due for mid2026. This evolution will bring enhanced entertainment experiences for all our members and guests to enjoy. It remains the focus to minimise impact of these works to our members and guests and we thank you for your continued support and patience as we work hard to deliver the new Hub, which is on track to be completed by the end of next year.

Further to this, there will be a change to the entry foyer in early 2025. We have a small, quick project planned to realign the entry foyer doors. It is planned that this improvement will reduce the impact of cold winter southerly winds and hot summer northerly winds and assist during those wet and rainy days that we experience from time to time.

We look forward to welcoming you these new and improved vibrant new areas, designed with you in mind! We are quietly confident that you will really be pleased with the results.

In November, we will partner with the “Be Unstoppable Foundation” as part of our Melbourne Cup Calcutta Charity Dinner. We expect a fantastic turnout of over 240 guests for an evening of great food, wonderful company, and, most importantly, support for an inspiring organisation that focuses on mental health initiatives.

As the year draws to a close, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy all we have on offer across the club. In December, Chef’s Grill will be featuring some festive specials, including Roast Ham and Turkey, accompanied by a decadent Christmas Chocolate Yule Log.

Throughout the holiday season, we are proud to continue supporting our valued community partners, including Ronald McDonald House, Youth Off the Streets, and Parramatta Mission. Together, we

are committed to making a difference by helping those facing challenges of isolation, illness, or loneliness. I encourage all members to join us in these efforts, supporting those who need it most. More details about these initiatives can be found in the pages of this Journal.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to CEO Glenn Kovacs and his team for their exceptional efforts throughout 2024. Their dedication and passion for the club and its members have been instrumental in our success. We send our warmest wishes to them, their families, and loved ones for a joyful Christmas season.

I also thank the Board for their unwavering contribution and support, and to their families for the sacrifice of time that allows them to commit wholeheartedly to the success of Wenty Leagues.

To you our valued members, we wish you and your families a safe and Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support throughout another successful year at Wenty Leagues.

Warm regards,

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CEO’S Report

Dear Members,

Welcome to this edition of The Journal. As December approaches, we look forward to the festive season and all the joy it brings. Wenty has prepared an exciting lineup of events for the entire family to enjoy, and we invite you to join us in celebrating the spirit of the season with your loved ones.

One of our most anticipated events, Carols on Ringrose, will take place on Tuesday, December 10th, at Ringrose Oval. We are delighted to once again bring together our members, their families, and the wider community for this special celebration. This year’s event features a live performance by everyone’s favourite heeler duo, Bluey and Bingo, alongside talented artists such as The Field Brothers and performances from local dance schools. And, of course, no Christmas event would be complete

without a visit from Santa himself! In addition to the entertainment, there will be a fantastic variety of food trucks, amusement rides, and a grand fireworks display at 9 pm. Bring your picnic rug, gather your family, and enjoy a magical evening with us.

We encourage attendees to bring a gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting Youth Off the Streets, a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing safety, support, and opportunities for young people to build brighter futures.

This holiday season, Wenty Leagues continues its commitment to making a positive impact in our community. We are once again running our “Donate A Gift” collection in our Reception and grand foyer. These gifts will be distributed by Ronald McDonald House to families with seriously ill children, helping ensure they experience the joy of the season. Please consider donating a new, unwrapped gift by December 18th, so we can spread smiles to children facing challenging times.

Throughout December, members can also look forward to the return of our popular Ham & Seafood Raffles, held on December the 2nd, 9th and 16th. Across all three raffles there is over $20,000 of prizes to be won. As a special treat for our younger guests, Santa’s Toy Raffles will take place on Thursday December 5th and Thursday December 12th, featuring $5,000 worth of toys and gadgets suitable for children of all ages, at each raffle. Tickets for all raffles go on sale at 5:30 pm, with the draw

happening at 7:30 pm. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for Santa’s appearances throughout the club during December.

As we prepare to welcome the New Year, Wenty Leagues offers multiple fantastic ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Join us in the Starlight Room for our Flashback Fever show, featuring nostalgic tunes to dance the night away. Alternatively, enjoy an elegant three-course meal on Level 1 with the Peter Morgan Duo, who will provide the perfect soundtrack to ring in 2025. Or join us in the club for a meal in The Plaza as you celebrate the evening with the special people in your life, then catch the midnight fireworks on our screens throughout the venue.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our Board of Directors, our Management Team, and our hardworking frontline staff. Their dedication and passion have been instrumental in helping us continue to provide exceptional facilities and services to our members and community.

Lastly, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our members. Your support has made another successful year possible. I wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing you all at the club in 2025, as we embark on another exciting chapter together.

Investing over $660,000 in Local Community Projects, Strengthening Cumberland Together

In 2024, Wenty Leagues has contributed more than $660,000 to ClubGRANTS Category 1 recipients. We are proud to support our community partners with projects that will have a lasting positive impact on our community. Organisations that have been supported under ClubGRANTS Category 1 include:

As part of our contribution, Wenty Leagues has invested $484,336 into 35 diverse projects in the Local Government Area (LGA) via the Cumberland Council ClubGRANTS round, reinforcing our commitment to improving the lives of local residents and addressing critical community needs.

As a key part of the community, Wenty Leagues’ funding supports a range of programs focused on disability support, education, aged care, homelessness prevention, health, and domestic and family violence intervention. Each project was carefully selected to tackle some of the most urgent challenges facing local residents.

This investment reflects Wenty Leagues’ ongoing mission to uplift and empower the vulnerable, fostering a stronger, more resilient community.

The Cumberland Council ClubGRANTS presentation at Club Merrylands recognised not only Wenty Leagues’ contributions but also the collective efforts of seven other licensed venues in the Cumberland Council LGA. Together, we have contributed over $1.7 million to local projects, exemplifying the power of collaboration and community support in driving growth and resilience.

At the heart of everything we do is the Cumberland LGA community. We are proud to support these organisations and eagerly anticipate the positive impacts these initiatives will bring.

Through partnerships and dedication, Wenty Leagues is not just making a financial contribution but working towards a brighter future for all Cumberland residents.

Wearing Jerseys in Support of DonateLife

Our incredible staff came together in an inspiring show of support for DonateLife by proudly wearing their favourite jerseys from every sporting code! From rugby and soccer to basketball and beyond, the vibrant array of team colours highlighted not only our diverse passions but also our collective dedication to championing a truly vital cause.

Jersey Day goes far beyond simply displaying team pride, it’s part of a movement aimed at raising awareness about the life-saving impact of organ and tissue donation. Every jersey worn is a symbol of more than just support for a favourite team—it represents a shared commitment to a cause that has the potential to transform and save lives.

Organ donation is an urgent and ongoing need in our community, and Jersey Day serves as a reminder of the critical importance of registering as an organ donor. By participating, we’re encouraging crucial conversations that can inspire action and awareness. Each discussion, every bit of information shared, and every new registration brings us one step closer to saving even more lives.

Support for Parramatta Mission’s Winter Appeal

Wenty Leagues proudly continued its commitment to the community by supporting Parramatta Mission’s Winter Appeal. This initiative aimed to help those struggling to stay warm during the colder months, shining a light on the urgent need for assistance. The response from staff and members was nothing short of inspiring, with the donations pouring in, including bags of blankets, warm clothing, and non-perishable food. All making a difference for vulnerable members of the community.

Due to the large volume of donations, Wenty Leagues arranged for two collection pickups. This ensured all the items were able to reach those facing tough times.

Wenty Leagues extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to this vital cause. Your kindness assists in creating a stronger community.

Uniting Against Family Violence

As a special guest at the Solidarity Against Family Violence Dinner, Wenty Leagues was honoured to participate in this powerful event hosted by the Zen Tea Lounge Foundation at Cabravale Diggers. The gathering focused on raising awareness and taking action against domestic family violence, uniting the community in a shared mission.

The event brought together community leaders, charity organisations, political figures, and courageous victim-

survivors, who shared moving stories of resilience and strength, underscoring the importance of support. Guests also enjoyed vibrant multicultural performances from three arts groups, celebrating diversity and unity.

A sincere thank you goes to the Zen Tea Lounge Foundation for organising such an enlightening and impactful evening.

Recognising R U OK? Day

In support of mental health awareness, Wenty Leagues proudly embraced R U OK? Day, an initiative that promotes well-being and encourages open, supportive conversations. This year’s event featured coffee and cupcakes for all staff, creating a warm and inviting space for meaningful interactions.

Wenty Leagues encourages staff to strengthen personal connections and develop support networks within the Wenty family. This approach fosters a culture of care and understanding, reminding everyone of the importance of looking out for one another. By asking, “Are you OK?” we open the door to real conversations that have the potential to change lives.

Proud Stockists of Escabags

We are excited to announce that Wenty Leagues is now a proud stockist of Escabags, an essential initiative providing critical support to victims of abuse. These FREE emergency bags are designed to help individuals escaping dangerous or abusive situations.

Escabags are available in two variations: the ‘Parent and Child’ bag and the ‘Single Adult’ bag, ensuring they meet different needs. Each bag is filled with necessities to support victims during their time of need, offering immediate access to essential resources as they make their escape. Wenty Leagues is honoured to partner with Escabags, helping create a safer and more supportive environment for those in need.

If you or someone you know requires an Escabag, please visit our friendly Reception team.

Bake it Blue

In support of Jeans for Genes Day, We proudly hosted a vibrant Bake it Blue event, bringing together staff, members, and guests in a heartwarming display of community generosity. The event featured delicious cupcakes and a raffle, with enthusiastic participation from attendees eager to show their support. Through the sale of cupcakes and commemorative Jeans for Genes merchandise, over $1,000 was raised to benefit the Children’s Medical Research Institute, an organisation committed to finding treatments and cures for genetic diseases.

Staff members also showed their support by wearing their favourite jeans, encouraging donations in exchange. Every contribution helps advance research aimed at improving the lives of children affected by genetic conditions. A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!

Pennants Season Updates

• Ladies’ Pennants

Our Ladies’ Pennants season just wrapped up. Despite some tough competition, our team put in a solid effort throughout, though we didn’t bring home the region title this time.

• Men’s Pennants

The Men’s Pennants competitions has just kicked off, with teams putting in hard work and aiming for a strong showing. Results have been solid thus far with our Division 1 boys causing a major upset in round 1 knocking off the powerful Merrylands crew!

Bowls NSW Awards Night & Conference Coming to Wenty Leagues

We’re thrilled to be hosting the Bowls NSW Annual Conference at our club. The festivities start with the Awards Night on Thursday, 31 October, followed by workshops and the main conference over two days. It’s an honour to welcome such a significant event to our home turf!

Celebrating Our Volunteers for the Bowls NSW Awards Night

While they didn’t make the final cut, we’re proud to have nominated John “Emu” Stephenson for Volunteer of the Year and Joe Fenech for Umpire of the Year at the upcoming Bowls NSW Awards. Their dedication and hard work are truly valued by everyone at Wenty.

New Club Uniforms Thanks to Grant Funding

Big news for our club: thanks to a successful $8,000 sports grant secured by our Bowls Coordinator, Cameron Curtis, we’re rolling out brand-new club shirts. With sleek, modern designs, these uniforms will be ready for the 2025 open-gender pennant competition, giving our teams a fresh and professional look. Special thanks to our local State Member, Dr Hugh McDermott for attending personally to present the grant—our members enjoyed celebrating the moment!

It is with a heavy heart that we said goodbye to Betty Kay in August at the age of 94. Betty joined Wenty Leagues in 1994 and was a big part of Wenty Leagues Darts - a Life Member in fact.

She was always there to help with running things even after she stopped playing. RIP beautiful Betty, she was loved by many. You may be gone, but never forgotten, you will always & forever be in our hearts.

Dave Shaw, President

FISHING

Due to weather conditions several planned fishing trips had to be cancelled. Fishing Club members were not happy; however, the welfare of our members is first and foremost. Our Charter Boat Captain is in control of the vessel and will not risk injury to the anglers or to his boat. We all respect the captain’s decision.

We were fortunate to fish in early August, the weather was perfect, the seas were calm.

The Skipper took us straight out to the 100 metre mark. This is a good depth and all on board were eager to drop their lines and catch the big one.

We were not disappointed, all caught fish some more than others but that’s fishing. A good day was had by all!

The catch consisted of 15 Morwong, 12 Snapper, 3 Leather Jackets, 17 Long Finned Perch, 7 Sergeant Baker and 1 Sweep.

The biggest fish a Snapper weighing in at 3.65kgs was brought in by Lewis; Lewis also had the biggest bag with 9.16gs.

The next trip in early September went ahead, brief details of the day are, fished in 120 metres, a good day to fish with Charley Harp catching a 1.1kg Cod and he also had the biggest bag with 9.1kgs.

The early October trip was cancelled by the charter skipper and rescheduled for later in October.

We only have a few more fishing outings scheduled before the end of the year, one in November and December. We also have the last of our three Small Boats Weekends happening on the last weekend in October at Greenwell Point. There is excitement building for this great weekend away just fishing and catching up with other Fishing Club members.

Till next tide

GOLF

Welcome from Wenty Leagues Golf Club and the last report for 2024. Where does the time go? I remember when I was young, I could not wait to reach 17 to get my licence and the next goal was my 21st but I now realise the years are too precious to wish away. Having experienced some very chilly days since the last report, I am certain we are all relieved to see the return of the warm weather.

To begin this month’s report, we finalised our Stableford Championship. The results were as follows:

A grade winner was Aaron Dixon and runner-up Rob Ruffle.

B grade winner was Steve Adams and runner-up Gary Noon.

C grade winner was Norm Hindy and runner up Sione Fangupo. Congratulations to all who competed as well as our winners.

The following week was our half-yearly meeting at the club. Thank you to all those who attended and especially thank you to those who

contributed their feedback. It is always great to hear what our members have to say.

Our Singles Matchplay commenced at Antill Park in August and concluded at Wallacia on the 1st of September. The results were as follows:

A grade winner was Ryan Payne and runner-up Rei Reihana.

B grade winner was Leon Plotkans and runner-up Gary Noon.

C grade winner was Frank Pagano and runner up John Iocca. Congratulations to all who those who took part again.

Our third and fourth rounds of the COW have wrapped up with the final round to be concluded by the 15 December at Antill Park. Our finalists are Brian Adams and Sione Fangupo, best of luck to both of you.

In September we held our round for our more senior competitors at Studley Park. It used to be an over 50s event, but we expanded it this year to include an over 60s and over 70s division. Our winners were as follows:

Over 50s - John Iocca.

Over 60s - Gary Noon.

Over 70s - Glen Grant. Congratulations to all.

After our game at Woodville on the 29 September, it was back to the club for our final quarterly meeting for the year. Once again, thank you to all those who attended and for your continued contribution to the club which greatly assists in implementing improvements.

We had our jackpot holes go off three times since my last report. One of our lucky winners was Norm Hindy collecting over $500 at Dunheved on the 8th hole, stopping the ball 89cm from the pin. Then again at Penrith on the 15th hole, this time stopping 60cm short to add another $300 to his pocket. Congratulations.

Our last one was at Antill Park in August on the 16th hole by Dominic Scali. However, this one was as close as you can get, a Hole-in-One! This was Dominic’s first so naturally he was over the moon. He will be presented with a trophy on our presentation night as well as collecting the jackpot of over $150 and a bonus payment for his ace. Congratulations Dominic.

Antill Park is a new course on our recent calendar, however I was advised that it was played by the club quite a few years ago. Our feedback about the course was positive from the members so we will be visiting it again.

We have several more events on our calendar to be completed before the year is out.

Winter Ambrose to be played at Leonay.

Memorial Trophy at Penrith.

Our Gosford Leagues club challenge which is being played up at the Gosford course.

Club and handicap championship to be held over four rounds.

• Ham and Chook Day

• President vs Captain Day

SUB CLUB Reports

• COW final.

• Patrons Day (Laurie Capovilla being our patron)

I will discuss all the results in the new year journal.

Finally, I would like to welcome some new members, Elvis Mircevski, Alistair Johnson, Neil Fuller, Lachlan Scifleet and a couple of returning members, Jarod Simonetta and Rob Willis who have just gained their handicaps. Also, our latest is Luke Weymann who is playing his 3rd round and will gain his Wenty handicap this weekend.

Well, that is it for 2024. Remember, we are always looking for new members so if you are interested or know someone who may be keen, please check the sub club website and the club bulletin boards for contact details.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable remainder of the year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you in 2025.

Kind Regards.

Glen Grant, President

GOSHIN JU-JITSU

Goshin Ju-Jitsu teaches a system of unarmed defensive techniques, using an attacker’s momentum against them, which is traditionally based and adapted for modern day situations. It is a modern form of the ancient Ju-Jitsu system, where knowledge, not strength, is required to defeat your attackers.

Ju-Jitsu is a Japanese martial art that can be enjoyed by women, men and children from 8 years of age.

2024 produced another very successful year. Due to this pleasing problem, it was necessary to close our books for new junior student registrations to focus on our existing students. This allowed our instructors greater scope to nurture the newer students without being disadvantageous to our more advanced students. It is also encouraging that the number of senior students has also significantly increased this year. We look forward to welcoming new students in 2025 when registration re-opens.

We thank our Sensei Rick Cefai and all the other instructors including Gary Davis, Andrew Seck, Danny Greenhalgh, Ken Bowers, Damian Bowers and Con Konstantinidis for volunteering their time to instruct on the mat. Many thanks also to our assistant instructors, Peter Mead and Stephen Lawless, for their assistance is greatly appreciated. It is always a difficult balance between family, work and school commitments.

Thank you to our hard-working Secretary, Amanda Seck and Treasurer, Deanne Pierce, who tirelessly look after our club off mat.

Special thanks to Caroline Karachristos, for all her hard work every week.

To all of the other Committee members, thank you for your assistance, it is much appreciated.

Our end of year is fast approaching, so our annual Presentation Luncheon plans are underway and will be held on Sunday, 8 December in the Wenty Leagues Blaxland Room. The highlight of the day will be the presentation of our two Major Awards, the Junior Black Belt and the Senior Black Belt Trophies. The Award winners will be announced in our next report. Family night is on Wednesday, 11 December and is an excellent opportunity for families to see what our students have learned throughout the year and marks the end of our training year.

Our books for 2024 new junior and senior student registrations are currently closed. We look forward to welcoming new students in 2025 when registrations re-open. In order not to miss out on limited vacancies, please click here to be placed on our waiting list for 2025 registration.

We will be enjoying a break over the summer school holidays and return on Wednesday, 29 January 2025. Training is held every Wednesday night during the school term in the Wally Webster Hall from 6.30pm. 2025 Registrations for new students and returning students will open in January 2025. We accept Active Kids vouchers and EFTPOS. Junior membership is open to students who are children of members of the Wenty Leagues Club, from the ages of 8 to 18 years.

Our training times are:

Junior white belt to junior purple belt 6.30pm to 7.45pm

Senior belts & new adult students 8.00pm to 9.30pm

For all enquiries and links to on-line registration please email goshinjujitsu@wentyleagues.com.au

On behalf of the Wenty Leagues Goshin Ju-Jitsu Club, we would like to extend our best wishes to everyone for a very Merry Christmas and a very safe and happy New Year.

NETBALL

As the 2024 season draws to a close, the Wenty Leagues Netball Club is celebrating an incredibly successful year. With five premier teams taking home top honors, including our 12 Div 1, 13 Div 4, 14 Div 2, 15 Div 4, and our standout Division One Senior team, which secured the prestigious Bill Egerton Shield after a dominating season, we can confidently say this has been one for the history books.

This year, our club fielded 22 teams, with an impressive 16 progressing to the finals series. The dedication, teamwork, and determination of our players have been at the forefront of this success. Every player, from juniors to seniors, has shown incredible growth, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the season, making us all immensely proud.

We are now in the midst of planning and preparing for our Junior and Senior Presentation, which will be held on 26 October. This will be a time to come together as a community to celebrate the achievements of our players, coaches, and volunteers who have contributed so much to the success of the season.

A special mention must go to Oriwia Brown, our umpiring convenor, who was recently recognised by Netball NSW as Valour’s Netty Legend

for September. Oriwia’s dedication to ensuring fair play, development and her commitment to the game has been exemplary, and this recognition is well-deserved.

A major highlight of the season was our 14 Div 1 team’s incredible performance at the prestigious Kurangaituku Tournament in Rotorua, New Zealand. Competing against elite teams from across NZ inclusive of two international invitational teams, our team went undefeated throughout the tournament, show casing their talent, teamwork, and determination on the international stage. This victory not only marks a proud moment for our club but also demonstrates the exceptional skill and sportsmanship of our 14 Div 1 team. Congratulations on bringing home the trophy!

As we look back on this remarkable season, we are reminded of the importance of teamwork, commitment, and the passion that our players, coaches, and volunteers bring to the court. Our club thrives because of the collective effort of everyone involved, and we look forward to carrying this momentum into the upcoming season. Keep an eye out on our socials for registration details for an even bigger and better 2025.

WDRLFC

Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership & Ron Massey Cup

Season 2024 is now done and dusted and another very successfully year for the District Rugby League Club.

Our Harvey Norman Women finished the year as Minor Premiers dropping only one game through the season proper. With the final series of their competition compromising of a top 4, week 1 of the semifinals placed us against the 4th placed Newcastle but unfortunately going down in a close encounter 20 – 18 to just miss a Grand Final birth. Congratulations to Lino Salafai and his crew on a remarkable season and a vast contrast from previous years of Wenty’s involvement in the Harvey Norman competition.

Once again, our Ron Massey team continued to excel with another Grand Final appearance. After finishing 3rd on the ladder after the round games Wenty took on the 2nd placed Mounties in the first semifinal coming away with a strong 22-12 win. Second week of the semi’s matched our Ron Massey boys against last year’s Premiers and this

year’s Minor Premiers St Marys, a grudge match if you like, and after another dominate performance from the Wenty team we were the first team into the big dance with a comfortable 32 – 10 win. Come Grand Final day and unfortunately it just was not meant to be going down 19 –6. It is fair to say the better team won but the score does not reflect the closeness of the game and with a couple of missed opportunities the result could have definitely been in our favour.

It would be remiss of me not to mention the outstanding milestones reached by 2 of our players this season with Ryan Pritchard playing his 200th game for the Wentworthville Club. And Blake Cook reaching the 300 club, a feat only achieved by 8 other players in the rich history of the great Wentworthville Club.

All information relating to the WDRLFC including complete draws for the Harvey Norman Women’s and Ron Massey Cup teams can be found on our website wentymagpies.com.au

JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE

Reflecting on a Landmark 2024 Season

As the 2024 season ends, we reflect on an extraordinary year for the Club. It has been a season filled with hard work, resilience, and growth, resulting in achievements that set a new standard. With eight teams reaching the Grand Finals and three emerging as Premiers, these results are a testament to the spirit and dedication of everyone involved.

One of the most exciting milestones of the year was the success of Wenty’s first-ever Under 16 Girls League Tag team, who fought their way to a Grand Final victory. Their dedication and teamwork were evident in every game, and they have set a high bar for future young athletes. Alongside them, our Under 12 Division 1 and Under 13 Division 1 teams also claimed Grand Final victories.

This season’s success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our extended Club family—the sponsors,

coaches, staff, families, and supporters whose combined efforts have created lasting memories and brought so much pride to the Club. Each person played a role in driving our teams forward and shaping the success of the season.

Celebrating Success at Our Annual Presentation Days

With the season behind us, we now look forward to gathering as a Club and celebrating our achievements. We held our Junior Presentation Day on 13 October and Senior Presentation Day on 27 October where we had the opportunities to recognise individual and team milestones and acknowledge the dedication of players, coaches, and staff alike.

As we celebrate this season’s achievements, we look toward the future with a renewed commitment to excellence and passion that fuels our Club. We strive to not only build upon our legacy of success but also to foster a supportive environment where every player can grow, excel, and carry forward the values we hold dear.

Congratulations once again to everyone involved in making this season unforgettable and setting the bar for even greater heights in the future!

Here are too many more seasons of hard work, perseverance, and, most importantly, the joy of the game!

Seasons greetings and all the best for 2025 from everyone at Wentworthville United Junior Rugby League Club.
