Carter, We have truly enjoyed watching you perform in all of your theater roles. You have grown so much as an actor. We could not be more proud of the work you do on and off the stage. We Love You! Mom, Dad, and Jordan

Director’s Note Isn’t it crazy how small things become big things? Kids start out as babies and before you know it, they are eighth graders. A caterpillar scrunches away on the ground to one day transform and grow into a big, Monarch butterfly. Or a tiny idea that God gave you on an early summer walk morphs into a stage production. This is one of my favorite things about theatre. Seemingly small ideas that start in the brain of the director or designer grow and change to become something big in which others get to participate. The process is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Discoveries are meant to be made. Growth happens. We—the entire collaborative cast—receive the humble honor of displaying our work before the audience and what a thrilling ride it is! To be sure, the Paris Acting Troupe that you get to watch today has experienced that same excitement. The town of Paris, Tennessee has supported them so much that they are now able to move into their new home—the historic Day Theater complete with its own Theater Ghost. You will get to witness this troupe shine in a special display of monologue work and scene work. You will get to see the tiny ideas and moments transform into something big and meaningful. You will get to see what a “harmless,” “small” letter triggers, and I hope you will find a little joy, a little chill, and a little wonderment along the way. “Thank you, Lord, for the talents and gifts offered up here today. Thank you for the chance to do theatre together once more. We ask that you keep all who are here safe and healthy. We ask that you will be glorified by our efforts and that our faith and trust will forever be in You! Amen!” “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 Enjoy the Show!

A ghost light is an electric light that is left energized on the stage of a theater when the theater is unoccupied and would otherwise be completely dark. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5

Jada, we’re so excited to see you on stage and are so proud of you! Keep on shining! With LOTS of love from your Family

We are so proud of you Joseph for trying out and for taking part in the Ghost Light Play. We have been watching you grow with much anticipation in what God is doing in your life. You are being equipped with discipline and perseverance through baseball. You pay attention to details even as a baby, allowing you to discover God’s work of creation. And with your love for literature and at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, you read the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation during the pandemic lockdown. To our amazement, you choose to pursue music and theater this year, perhaps one day employing your skills to be light and salt to the world. We will always support you in everything that you do, cheering you on when you strive to succeed and holding you when you fall. Have fun playing the roles of Jesse and Chris in Ghost Light. Be and do the best that you can and always remember to praise and honor the Lord God for His love and grace. Love, Mom & Dad
