Parents and educators from our church and community are invited to Westbury UMC’s first ever Family Conference. There will be a variety of speakers presenting on topics like “Discipline vs. Punishment,” “Parenting Children from Hard Places,” “Co-Parenting” and “Choices in Education.” A registration fee of $25 per person covers participation in three speaker sessions, lunch and childcare for children ages 7 and younger. Registration is available online.

Family Lenten Prayer Service

This service will be especially engaging for families with kids of all ages! There will be an opportunity for children to walk the labyrinth before or after the service.

“Under Construction” Spring Break Camp

DECEMBER

This interactive camp is designed for children ages 2-5th grade. Preschoolers and elementary kids will have the opportunity to hear scripture stories, build their own creations with Legos, while older elementary kids will even have the chance to take a field trip to an architecture firm!

For all folks who are in ministry with children and youth of Westbury UMC and FAM, we must be 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 Safe Sanctuary certified. This includes all relational activities including Sunday school, VBS and 20The 21United 22 23 24 25Church’s 26 Safe Sanctuary program is an overt expression in other activities.
