Wednesday Evenings Youth Bible Study 6–7 pm | Youth Wing A mid-week Bible study for our 7th–12th grade students. Students will not need to purchase anything for the study. Simply bring your Bible. LAST DAY IS MAY 20! WE WILL TAKE A BREAK FOR THE SUMMER.

Youth Mission Trip to Haiti June 12–20

A team of adults and high school students is headed to Haiti, where we will participate in ministry with the orphanage in the town of Gressier.

Fine Arts Camp (ages 3.5–5th grade) Monday–Friday, June 15–19

In collaboration with Willow Meadows Baptist Church, we are offering a Fine Arts Camp for children ages 3–5th grade. Sign up at www.wmbc.org or contact Hillary Peete.

Missions & Me

Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20 Our 3rd–5th graders will have an overnight retreat at the church. We’ll eat dinner together, play games, and have a Bible study. Saturday morning, ALL families are invited to join us for a service project from 8 am to noon. Join us in this day of being the hands and feet of Christ in our neighborhood.

Haiti Share Day

Sunday, June 28 | Noon | Parlor Hear stories from the Haiti team about their experiences. A light lunch will be served.

VBS Volunteer Training

Sunday, June 28 | 4 pm | Parlor We’ll review Safe Sanctuary guidelines and learn more about the theme and schedule for VBS. This helps us all be ready to hit the road running on August 3! (There will be another meeting on July 12 if you cannot attend this one.) Light lunch and childcare are provided.

Youth Lock-In

Friday–Saturday, August 14–15 | 8:30 pm–7:30 am What do movie theaters, dodgeball, basketball, carpetball, volleyball, pizza, cornhole, air hockey, and no sleep all have in common?! Nothing—except they all happen during our annual youth lockin! Bring a friend. This event is free, free, free!

Blessing of the Backpacks

Sunday, August 23 | 10:45 am | Sanctuary Calling all students! Bring your backpack or bag to church with you. You will come forward for a special blessing and receive a keychain to remind you throughout the year that God is with you.

Confirmation Retreat

Friday–Saturday, August 28–29 | 6:30 pm–7:30 am Each year Westbury UMC offers any incoming 6th graders the opportunity to join our annual confirmation class. This class is available for any middle schooler who has not been confirmed by the Methodist Church. The confirmation experience begins with the retreat!
