The steel moldboards are best for tough or abrasive soils. Optional plastic moldboards offer good soilshedding ability. Handle rough and rocky ground. Tension-bolt trip comes standard. It trips when the plow hits a force around 7,500 lb. (3,402 kg), preventing damage to the plow and bottom. For rocky fields, consider optional mechanical-trip standards. The moldboard frame pivots with the bottoms, reversing laterally with a hydraulic cylinder.
