Western Tractor Careers
R.A.P. Program
The “Right People” are our most important asset. Western Tractor is Southern Alberta’s “employer of choice”. We have four locations, situated in Lethbridge, Taber, Burdett, and Medicine Hat, where we sell the number one brand of Agricultural, Turf and Commercial Worksite Products in the world, JOHN DEERE. We also sell select related products such as STIHL handheld products and other shortline products.
If you are ready to learn and practice your future trade with us while you are in high school, we do participate in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.
When you come to work with us, you’re joining a team of dedicated professionals who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Our workforce is a great mix of experience and new energy, trades and professional positions. You’ll find people who will share their knowledge and expertise, are committed to doing great work and who like to have some fun.
RAP is flexible, meaning that you can work as an apprentice part-time throughout the year or choose to work weekends and holidays to complete your hands-on work experience. As you start working, you will focus on safely learning required skills for your trade. As you learn, you earn – both high school credits and wages! Register as a RAP apprentice with us and get a head-start on your career. Western Tractor will give you an inside look at your chosen trade to help you decide if that trade is right for you.
