LETTER from the TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE Mission Statement

Educate. Advocate. Collaborate. We will provide superior, reliable municipal services for the benefit of our citizens. We aim to be good stewards of both public resources and our natural environment as we embrace our heritage and yet recognize and act on opportunities to enhance the future quality of life in our community.

Vision Statement

We aspire to be a customer-centered organization through innovation and sustainability.

Time and again we have seen the Westfield Washington Township community come together in a resilient and caring manner to take care of one another during a time of need. This was evidenced last fall as our community mourned the loss of two young Westfield High School cross country team members, Liam and Reece Kelly. The boys’ family and friends wanted to find a way to keep their memory alive, so MacGregor Park became the home for a memorial plaque at the trailhead where the boys would gather with their teammates before and after training on the park’s trails. We were happy to partner with the Kelly family to honor the legacy of their boys. I encourage everyone who visits the park to stop by the memorial and say a little prayer or positive thought for the family and friends of Liam of Reece. Sincerely,
