LETTER from the TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE Mission Statement
Educate. Advocate. Collaborate. We will provide superior, reliable municipal services for the benefit of our citizens. We aim to be good stewards of both public resources and our natural environment as we embrace our heritage and yet recognize and act on opportunities to enhance the future quality of life in our community.
Feeling a little antsy and cooped up from the winter? Parks and Programs are still open here at Westfield Washington Township! Our staff and instructors have done a wonderful job keeping everyone safe during these uncertain times. "The parks department provided online classes during the Covid time frame, as well as our coach sent us text workouts to hold us over until we could meet in person. We have been meeting in person since August and following the CDC guidelines for safety." -Core and More Participant
We aspire to be a customer-centered organization through innovation and sustainability.
Vision Statement
If you aren’t ready to get back to in person classes, taking a walk in nature and enjoying the scenery is a great way to calm yourself and get some exercise. For most everybody that has been hunkered down to avoid the coronavirus, it has taken a toll on our physical and mental health. As we move away from spending more time indoors after this winter, we need to drink in as much nature as we can.
Staff
Here are my top 3 parks in Hamilton County that let you escape into nature: 1. MacGregor Park, Westfield, 2. Koteewi Park, Noblesville, and 3. Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve, Fishers.
