Westover School: A Powerful Foundation As one of New England’s leading college-preparatory schools, Westover engages young women in a powerful college-prep foundation. Students choose from compelling interdisciplinary electives and dive into Signature Programs in music, science and engineering, finance, global exchanges, and more. At Westover students go as far as their desire and imagination can take them.
Advantage: Independent As a leader in all-girls education for over a century, Westover provides a rich academic experience in a close-knit community with a focus on empowering young women to explore and excel beyond their comfort zones. As an independent school, Westover does not need to establish its curriculum based on state mandated testing requirements. And that means the curriculum is deep and wide, engaging students on multiple levels.
seeing the world through multiple lenses From human rights to climate change, the real world is interdisciplinary, and education should be, too. Because it teaches how ideas fit together, how to look at problems from many points of view, how to see the world the way it actually works. And that’s a powerful skill-set for the future.
