Softball players from local teams received their year-end awards, during the annual awards night for the Weyburn Minor Baseball Association. For squirt Red Sox, Daija Nyhus won most improved, Hannah VanDeSype won all around teammate and Beau Chisholm won most valuable player. For squirt Blue Sox, Aimee Jones won most improved, Virginia Harazny won all around teammate and Ainsley Wanner won most valuable player.
