A barrel train went up the main street of Midale’s heritage village, while the rock-climbing wall at left was a busy attraction during Midale’s Pioneer Echoes event on Saturday. Later a parade of antique tractors made its way up this street, and was followed by a threshing bee on the grounds.

Christian Stroeder and his brother Harrison watched the grain fill up the grain wagon during the old-time threshing bee on Saturday, with the big Case threshing machine putting through sheaves of wheat. This was part of Midale’s Pioneer Echoes event over the weekend.

Bull rider Tyson Thue of Ceylon was bucked off “Muddy Duals” during the Midale Bull Bash, held on Friday evening at the Midale rodeo grounds. Out of a field of 15 competitors, only two riders lasted long enough to the eight-second buzzer to record a score.
