Carol Festival features the music of Christmas

The Variations community choir sang three songs in their performance on Sunday evening at the Rotary Carol Festival, with Colleen Weimer (front left) conducting. They sang “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day” and “He is Born, Sing Noel”. The choir will be performing at their own Christmas concert this Sunday, Dec. 10, at 2 and 7 p.m. at Grace United Church, featuring works by Canadian artists.

RISE Choir sings about snow, Frosty

Members of the RISE Choir from the Weyburn Comp sang three Christmas songs in the evening performance of the Rotary Festival of Carols on Sunday at Grace United Church. They sang “Happy Xmas”, “On with the Snow” and “Frosty the Snowman”.

Prairie Tunes shares music

A local group, Prairie Tunes, comprised of Weyburn families from southern India, sang songs in both Malayalam and English at the evening performance of the Rotary Carol Festival on Sunday.
