With the expert guidance of one of our artists and instructors, learn how to shape hot molten glass, cut and arrange cold glass, or sculpt wet clay into beautiful objects! All programs are hands-on, one-on-one experiences. Ages limits range from 5 to 16 and older, and minors require a parent/guardian’s signature. Participants receive a complimentary pass for the day. Please note that glass and ceramic objects require time to cool in a kiln slowly to room temperature, typically one to two weeks later. Scan the QR code below for more details.

WheatonArts is an internationally acclaimed arts and cultural center. It is also a vital community resource that provides unique and innovative arts’ programs for students in Southern New Jersey. The WheatonArts Golf Classic supports programs that serve over 12,000 school children each year. Students visit our Museum of American Glass, Hot Glass Studio and Flameworking Studio to explore glassmaking and its engaging history, along with our Pottery Studio and Folklife Center for cultural enlightenment. They also work with resident artists to create their own art!
WheatonArts attracts over 60,000 visitors of all ages each year, providing tours, workshops, and special experiences to the general public as it promotes a mission to engage artists and audiences in an evolving exploration of creativity.
WheatonArts strives to make exhibits, events and programs accessible to all visitors. Provide two weeks notice for additional needs. Patrons with hearing and speech disabilities may contact WheatonArts through the New Jersey Relay Service (TRS) 800-852-7899 or by dialing 711.
Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, and the New Jersey Cultural Trust. WheatonArts receives general operating support from the New Jersey Historical Commission, Division of Cultural Affairs in the New Jersey Department of State and is supported in part by the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism.
