Therina has been playing tennis for 38 years and has been USPTA certified teaching tennis for 19 years Playing her junior tennis in South Africa, Steenkamp was ranked #5 in singles and #1 in doubles

She attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, on a full tennis scholarship where she played nr 1 singles and doubles . In 2019, Therina was selected to coach the Louisiana Boys and Girls teams at the Junior Southern Cup . She is very passionate about playing and teaching tennis and looks forward to sharing her love for the game with the residents of Wheat Ridge!
