Interview:

Thomas Cole Simmonds

How would you describe your work in just 3 words? Ahh that's a tough one! One website described my photos with the term 'subtle emotions' and I think that would be pretty accurate, I guess I'd add either dreamlike or soft for the 3rd word haha. Please tell us about the experience you had whilst working on your photoshoot 'Dryad'? This was a shoot I had been meaning to do for a very long time and I had been collecting the clothes together for it for even longer! I had a lot of trouble finding a model to work with and a lot of the time bad weather meant I had to postpone but luckily I managed to book some time with the beautiful Bethan in the end. After all the delays in getting the shoot together it was over in a flash and we ended up getting some really great images and just finished before it got too cold! When it comes to photography, what are your must-have items and equipment? I usually just take the one camera bag with me on shoots these days, after a few years I've managed to strip out the useless stuff and keep it repetitively

simple. Here is a list of the stuff I usually pack: -My main shooting camera, the 5D Mark 2 along with either a 50mm or 85mm lens. -A camera to shoot 35mm film with which is usually the Canon AE-1 Program although I often switch this out for something else especially if I've recently gotten a new camera that needs testing! -My Polaroid 195, I don't shoot with this too often as it's rather expensive but I like to bring it along with me so I can get a couple of shots with each shoot. -And a few extra bits and pieces such as spare CF cards and rolls of film. Oh and a bin liner to wrap around my bag in case we get caught in the rain! What was your most favourite achievement or experience with your photography in 2014? 2014 was the year I had my first proper client shoot and that was fantastic to have someone interested enough in my work to represent their company in that way. Although it didn't really have any relevance to what we were doing at the time, while we were shooting I had to stand in the bathtub of the hotel room we were working in to get the

shot I wanted which as it turned out was the one that Johnny Depp and Kate Moss had apparently had a bath of Champagne in. Also later in the year Cara Delevingne shot a campaign for Top Shop in the same room so it was kind of cool to be working in a room with an interesting history, maybe in 20 years someone will be saying "Tom shot here" haha. Part of that shoot was also featured in issue 6 of Whim Magazine! Lastly, what projects or plans are on the agenda for the year ahead? At the moment I'm printing and framing the last few images for an exhibition of my work that I am holding in my home town of Brighton, but other than that I just hope to be shooting lots more!

Interview:

Kenneth Kwok

When did you first discover your love of photography? I started with shooting my collections of action figures, then a friend showed me about shooting real models. I tried and loved it. Can't stop now. What inspires your creativity the most? Something dreamy, the contrast of natural lights. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photoshoot? I've worked with the designer several times already and I always, always love her style which matches with the concept very much, and the other day I talked with the accessories designer about this shoot and I think their style matches very great. When everything came out together the results are so awesome!!! :D Please describe what an average day in your life looks like? I got a daytime job which is totally different from photography, but I'd say I spend quite a lot of time on Facebook to network with people and keep learning from seeing other photographer‘s amazing works and

get inspired from there for my shoots (don't let my boss know :P) Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? Honestly I don't have much goals yet...luckily I have a daytime job to survive, so I just want to relax and enjoy photography with what I want to do, and train my skills on lighting, shooting and editing to a new level.

An Interview with

Nora from NoraFinds.com

How would you describe yourself in just three words? Girly, loud, and full of contradiction. What first inspired you to create your blog? It was my day job as a scientist that inspired me to create the blog. I wanted to motivate myself to dress nicely everyday even though I am often under a lab coat - the aim is to try to work out a style that suits me and the lab. What does an average day in the life of Nora involve? On weekdays I work 9-5 as a scientist and after work I spend too many hours browsing vintage or planning blog posts. On weekends I usually wake up and go to brunch with my husband, shoot an outfit post and then head out for dinner. We pretty much plan our lives around food. Who, or what, inspires your creativity the most? Old photographs. Seeing vintage ladies in their best clothes always inspire me to create outfits worthy of a blog post or an editorial.

What styles or particular garments are you loving the most at the moment? I am particularly loving floral dresses at the moment. It might simply be the seasons calling, but I am swooning over 50s floral dresses with delicate details like chiffon material or tiny ribbons or beautiful watercolor palette. Lastly, what are your hopes and dreams for the near future – Do you have any exciting, upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I am hoping to move to London around mid 2015 which is exciting and scary at the same time! I'm looking to do more vintage blogging there and even start sourcing vintage pieces to my friends in Australia. I aim to share my vintage journey in London with my blog readers and I hope they'll enjoy it.

Each winning photographer was also able to take part in a short interview to be published alongside their image. All semi-finalists had their entries showcased on our Facebook page where over a 2-week period our fans voted for their most favourite image. We’re incredibly honoured to present to you our winning image, along with 3 runners-up images (including our Editor’s Choice image!) So, here they are! We hope you enjoy them.

Model: Bee Saraiva

Tahereh Salimi

(the winner!)

When did you first discover your love of photography? I always loved to draw or paint people to be able to show an emotion through a pose and use of light and shadow. I like anything that is visual and conveys an emotion or tells a story about the subject. About 4 years ago I started learning more seriously about Arts and tried different mediums. At first I was more attracted to drawing and filmmaking. But trying them all for 2 years, I loved the fact that we could see the results of the photoshoots so quickly. Growing in this field is quicker than other fields because you can see the results right after the shutter is clicked and you’ll make changes to it to make it better. From then I decided to continue my journey in photography. What inspires your creativity the most? Light, colors, music, and the subject. I listen to music a lot and sometimes I hear something and I would love to show that emotion through a photo. When I am at the photoshoot session the subject inspires me the most. Everyone brings a different story to my

sessions. I try to find the best chapter hidden in them somewhere and bring it out. Everyone is unique and I love to show their uniqueness through my photos. And when editing, lighting and colors inspire me a lot to decide about the final look of the image. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst capturing this image? I just loved everything about this photo. And that comes from great team work. I have amazing people around me and for that shoot there was our beautiful model Brenda, my makeup artist that I work with her on almost all my projects Joanne, and Zeena the designer of that beautiful yellow cape. Sometimes I have a clear idea and vision on what I want and sometimes we just talk to each other and try new things. I didn’t have a specific plan for this shot. We just talked to each other, tried different things and improved it. And that is why having a great team would benefit photographers a lot. And I’d love to thank them all for bringing their talents and happy faces to the sessions every time I work with them.

What do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-toodistant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I love to grow in my style and get better and better, do more exciting projects and show my work to more people. I love to bring fashion and fine arts elements into my works. As for my future projects, I have one fashion bridal shoot coming up and hopefully one shoot with model and some live animals :)

Lastly, where can our readers see more of your beautiful work? On my website: tahereh.ca And my facebook page: facebook.com/taherehArts

Model: Olivia Daylor

Gabrielle Daylor

(1st runner-up!)

When did you first discover your love of photography? I started falling in love with photography about 2 years ago during my junior year of high school and from then on it has pretty much become my whole life! What inspires your creativity the most? I love seeing the work of my favorite photographers and striving to be as good as them some day. It inspires me to create works of art rather than just a photo. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst capturing this image? Well the outfit the model, who is also my little sister and best friend, is wearing was what inspired the shoot! I made both the top and skirt and we went to my favorite location to shoot and the rest was history. It was such a fun shoot that I couldn’t have hoped to come out any better!

What do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-toodistant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I actually just opened my official studio 2 weeks ago! I have my first space and I couldn’t be more excited. So that is what I will be working on for a while! Making the space my own and learning more about shooting indoors. Lastly, where can our readers see more of your beautiful work? Model: Katie Lindberg

Alison Su

(2nd runner-up!)

When did you first discover your love of photography? I discovered my passion for photography when I first set hands on my dad’s old Sony DSL camera. I started taking photos in my backyard – or what I liked to call my studiobecause there was always endless inspiration surrounding me. I was 13 years old at that time. Since then, photography has been a creative outlet for me. I found my passion for shooting photos, specifically people, when I started taking senior portraits the summer before high-school. I have learned and grown so much not only through photography, but also through experiences each photoshoot has taught me. What inspires your creativity the most? I am constantly on the search for inspiration, whether it is through spending hours on fashion blogs, adventuring in Colorado, or looking through my Pandora playlist. Music has always been a part of my life ever since I was little, and I find myself

turning to my latest playlists to prompt my creativity. Searching through my “most played” songs really stirs up the mood I want to portray through my photos. A huge part of my photography is inspired by where I live because I am always surrounded by beautiful, mountainous landscape. I love taking advantage of the stunning scenery in Colorado, whether it is in the heart of Downtown, Denver, or on the hilltops of Daniel’s Park right before sunset. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst capturing this image? The model I shot with, Katie, loves adventuring and everything about nature, so I really wanted to capture that in her shoot. I found a little park nearby with vast fields of tall grass, and I immediately fell in love. It was like a fairytale; the warm light perfectly highlighted my model. My favorite part about this shoot was playing with the light, as it created a very whimsical atmosphere.

What do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-toodistant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I have recently started collaborating with a model agency, so I plan on exploring the art of fashion photography. I am really looking forward to working with different models and hopefully get the opportunity to team up with hair & makeup artists! Lastly, where can our readers see more of your beautiful work? I am currently working on building an online website to showcase my photos, but I keep my Facebook upto-date as well as my social media pages: Facebook: facebook.com/Alison.su.photography Instagram: Instagram.com/alisonsuphotography Tumblr: tumblr.com/alisonsuphotography

Model: Tamika Schier

Taylor Kezia

(Editor’s Choice!)

When did you first discover your love of photography? I think my love for photography started when my grandma gave me my first digital camera. I'd take pictures mostly of myself and nature. Then I discovered how I could edit them with that cute online editor "Picnic" and the rest is history! What inspires your creativity the most? I've just always had a very creative outlook on life. I take a lot of inspiration from fellow photographers but I also have a love for the art of fashion. So those two things really get my creative juices flowing. I'm also blessed to live in the countryside where everyday I'm greeted with picturesque views that heavily influence the warm and natural vibe of my photography.

Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst capturing this image? I had organised a collaboration shoot with my photographer friend Natalie Pretorius, her stylist Alyssa Selin and my model friend Tamika Schier. We had spent most of the day wandering around the countryside, shooting at

numerous locations I had previously scouted. This was the last look for the shoot and as the sun was going down, we had Tamika hold up the scarf to get this incredible looking background to the photograph, making it look quite whimsical. What do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-toodistant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? Fun fact: I'm actually a primary school teacher! This year I've been offered my first full time position, so I'll be a very busy bee with the kids. In saying that, photography is a perfect side job that I can choose when to invest time into it. I'll try my best to do a few shoots throughout the year but I'm actually looking into doing more travel photography, so stay tuned for that! Lastly, where can our readers see more of your beautiful work? You can see my work on my website www.taylorkeziaphotography.com, Instagram @taylorkezia_photography or @taylorkezia. Then my Facebook facebook.com/taylorkeziaphotography :)

Interview:

Hartmut Nörenberg

When did you first discover your love of photography? Thanks to my father, I got in touch with photography at an early age. Without hesitation, I would accompany him on outings to photograph locomotives and nature scenes. It was the opportunities offered by digital photography, however, which made me really passionate about it, a fact that my girlfriend, being my first model, had to become accustomed to. By and by I managed to enlarge the circle of people I took photos of and never went out without my camera. What inspires your creativity the most? I derive a great deal of inspiration from creative people who present their work and projects on a variety of internet-platforms. Everyday impressions can act as the seed for a new idea. Partly optic stimuli and visual impressions inspire me. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photoshoot? At the day of our shooting we were

really lucky to have some hours with sunshine. The weather in Germany has not been really shooting friendly. We shot on a location at the RheinBeach in Düsseldorf for several hours. Fantastic different stylings with a variety of hair and make-up combinations. It was simply amazing. Working with such a creative und productive team makes me happy and being a part of this kind of production makes me proud. Please describe what an average day in your life looks like? The average shooting-day begins with checking the equipment and packing it up for working outdoor and driving to the shooting-location or building up the first set in my studio. After a coffee-break the Model, Make-UpArtist and Stylist begin working on the first look. Every look gets shot and reviewed on the screen. Hopefully everyone is happy with the results. After every finishing a set location or lighting-situation will be adjusted. In the evening all pictures get reviewed. A selection of pictures will be sent out to the client or the agency. Then it’s time for a great dinner.

Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? My plans for the future are working more outdoors on location and in different countries. I spent most of the time working in Germany and I think it is time for me to get out of the country for some jobs.

Sleeping Beauty A Modern Tale: Aurora is lazing around in her bedroom reading zines, taking Polaroid photographs, trying on her new tiaras and playing around with her crystal collection. She grows tired before falling into a deep slumber and wakes to find herself in a magical realm. Covered in ivy, it is as though years and years have passed, yet she finds herself in an unrecognizable time and place. She soon stumbles upon a castle and realises that home is nothing but a distant memory; its once-familiar comforts now just a figment of her imagination.

Interview:

Lucy Tranter-Wissemann

When did your love of fashion design first bloom? My love of fashion design blossomed from my love of all things girly and twirly, mixed with my artistic need to self-express. It came together in my second year of high school, and it made sense! Since then I haven’t ever considered anything else. How would you describe your brand in just three words? I believe that my work captures ‘Elegant’, ‘Youthful’ and ‘Princess’. When it comes to your fashion designs, what inspires your creativity the most? If you can’t already guess from some of the titles of my designs, I can’t help myself when it comes to sweet damsels! I just imagine attending a party or the butterflies of love. What does an average day in the life of Lucy involve? My day consists of early rises, checking emails, posting on social media/feeding babies and preparing for the day! Between sleepy naps and playing pretend ‘shoe shop’, I plan and organize what I will achieve that coming night, after the day ends. Then when the house is settled, its time to finish orders and begin new projects! Please tell us a little about the

experience you had whilst working on your latest collection, 'Sleeping Beauty'? It was only when I finished the final look of the collection, when I realised how much of a pastel party it was! Of course, the designs were premeditated with sketches and concepts, but like usual it takes its own course during the making. I was so, so happy to be able to collaborate with a lovely creative friend Monique Friedlander, writer and designer for Sydney-based blog Sneakypeek! With her tiara magic making skills, Aurora’s Crowns brought that whole picture together, in a perfect pastel, gilded and diamanté haze! Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your gorgeous fashion label in the not-too-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I am excited for the remaining Sleeping Beauty pieces to be shared in March! I plan to continue building connections with some pretty boutiques and start bringing ideas together for the next collection!

Interview:

Sandra Brönnimann

When did you first discover your love of photography? I was around 16 years old when I started to get interested in photography, as I was already working in that field, but I was 23 when I really started to focus a lot on my own stuff. That was the time when I started to make a living off photography. What inspires your creativity the most? A lot of things, it can be a color I see somewhere, an image, a random towel, rain, a look through a window, absolutely anything. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photoshoot? It was the first time I worked with this team, it was a great match and we all had an awesome time right from the beginning. We did have a scary moment at one point involving wet dogs running around, resulting in all of us nearly having a heart attack at the thought of completely ruined outfits. But everything turned out fine. Please describe what an average day

in your life looks like? It varies. Sometimes I sit all day on the computer, sorting out pictures and preparing them, other days I'm out and shooting new images. It’s definitely a job that completely consumes you, from the moment you open your eyes until you close them, there is always something to do and sometimes I think of all the stuff and inspiration just doesn’t fit in my head :-) Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I wanna do what makes me happy, I wanna focus more on the art aspect and act out my creativity. I’m still following my own path and I think that’s never going to end and that’s what’s keeps me going. An Interview with Artist

Anya Dee

When did you first discover your love of art? As long as I remember myself - I always was into arts, however it all started in a more theatrical way, I used to play main roles in a children’s theatre and was a very active and curious child. However I discovered my interest in other fields of Arts: painting – drawing from the age of 6, when I attended a private school of arts, to improve my skills. Which three words would you use to describe your artistic style? Expressive, bright, brave!

What inspires your creativity the most? There was a period in my life when I found melancholy and depression the most fascinating and most inspiring moments for creativity, however I managed to find beauty in other things and positive moments. Now I’m not addicted to the certain mood, I find beauty in everyday life, not depending on the forecast.

Please describe an average day in the life of Anya Dee? Morning coffee, a quick look-through the up-to-date fashion news, a morning kiss for my husband and the creative day begins! I often spend so many hours at my desk, that at some point I don’t recognize what part of the day it is. As with many other artists, I’m more like a night-person, I really love the peaceful, quiet atmosphere which only the night brings, no sounds, just the music I love and the ideas I come up with. What do you hope the not-too-distant future holds for your art career; Do you have any exciting, upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? My everyday life brings so much exciting news and people that I couldn't ask for more. I sketch each day and being a fashion illustrator is my full-time job. My dreams and my reality are the same, so I can only be thankful to everyone and everything in this life! We never know, what the futre may bring, but we can be thankful for what we had and have at the moment. Website: www.anadeestyle.com FB: facebook.com/anya.dee.style Instagram: @anadeestyle

Lauren Campbell

When did you first discover your love of photography? I first discovered my love of photography when I was quite young. I was around 7 or 8 and I had won a spelling competition, and the prize was a bright red, plastic, 35mm CocaCola film camera (which I still own to this day). I thought it was the best thing ever and I would take it with me everywhere and do little shoots with my two sisters. They'd dress up in ridiculous outfits and we would go exploring around my grandparents’ property and take pictures. It was always really fun! What inspires your creativity the most? I find inspiration in the environment around me. I love watching the seasons change and the different colours, textures and moods they bring. I also love finding inspiration in the personalities of the people I photograph. I always want my images to reflect the people in them. Lately I’ve been getting quite inspired by the classic photographers Eve Arnold and Leo Fuchs. I think I’m drawn to their

work because it seems to have a romantic yet really raw emotion, something I really aim to bring to my own photography. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photo-shoot? This photo-shoot was incredible to work on. I had been longing to work with Vikki from Rockstars and Royalty for quite a while. Her designs are an institution in Canberra, and are always so unique and so beautiful. We had an amazingly talented MUA Erin Pittard and Kity of Sibu Beauty worked her magic on the hair. All the girls who modelled were fantastic and braved the cooler climate of Canberra to model these garments! The idea behind the shoot was of lost beauties, queens, with an earthy, ethereal and mystical presence, wandering through the forest. Connected to the environment. Canberra is surrounded by a beautiful cork oak forest which provided the perfect backdrop. Such a fun day working with this talented team!

Please describe what an average day in your life looks like? It changes really, which is quite exciting. When I'm shooting fashion, the day will be spent hanging out with everyone while hair and makeup is being done, and then when it's shoot time, I'm basically lost in my own little photo world while shooting. When I am shooting couples on their wedding day, I’m there for the duration and spend my time capturing all the beautiful emotions that come with weddings. Other days can be spent editing shoots, location scouting or meeting up with clients for a coffee and a chat or planning my next big shoot. I love it! Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? This year I would love to concentrate more on making sure I take the time to create some really beautiful art that speaks to me. I have had some ideas in my head for a while now and I really want to bring them to life and make them a reality. I love shooting fashion and couples, but I really want to take a bit more of a conceptual journey with my photography too :)

Hippies by Laurel Guido www.laurelguido.com

I wish to be a hippie, to wear my hair long, wavy and braided. my lover would weave daisy chains and place them in a crown at the top of my head. we would run through the grasses, laughing as the tall blades tickled our bare arms. and rest in the heat of summer days and under the twinkling stars of the night sky. during the warm sunsets, my long limbs would be pressed against the sky. and the sun, still bright between my fingertips, would kiss my skin.

when fall arrived, I would live in oversized wool sweaters. the leaves crinkling beneath my feet as I skipped along the sides of busy streets. we would escape from our pain, refilling the emptiness with music from your guitar. the smell of firewood, strong and crisp, would create a shelter surrounding us. I want to watch the snow drift, to escape the cold air from inside a coffee shop. blankets strewn across our soft legs as we breathe in nothing but love.

Interview:

Kristen Booth

When did you first discover your love of photography? My senior year of high school. In the years leading up to it, I had been taking a lot of photos in my free time.... but it hadn't quite clicked yet. Throughout my senior year, I started realizing that I was seeing things differently from others. I would see an epic photo opportunity and not have something with me to capture it and it would make my skin crawl with frustration. I would point out the moment to my friends and they were like "ummmm....sure...." they just didn't see it. What inspires your creativity the most? Castles, rolling hills, abandoned structures. I love desolate places that tell a story. We understand that you're a busybee, also running the online shop Chariot Marie in your spare time when you're not photographing fairytale-inspired weddings. How would you describe Chariot Marie to our readers? Yes, busy bee would be a great way to describe me! Haha. I've always been a thrifter and love the thrill of the hunt.

This got me into vintage clothing...which started as a personal collection, which grew into a hobby, which grew into an online shop! Chariot Marie is an online boutique, specializing in feminine and romantic vintage women's clothing from the 1940's to the 1980's. I run this shop with my mom and it gives us the perfect excuse to spend hours perusing thrift stores and estates, hunting for gorgeous vintage pieces! If you're looking for something lace, tulle, floral, or pink....we're your gals ;) Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photoshoot for the Chariot Marie lookbook? We had a totally different plan and vision for the shoot. We were going to head to a further location, incorporate furniture, and channel a totally different vibe. Right as we were leaving, I looked up at my local mountains and saw a haze surrounding them, and instantly changed my plans. We headed up to the mountains and got the dreamiest light and even the perfect foggy backdrop towards the end of the shoot.

Please describe what an average day in your life looks like? Most days I am at home, working in my office. I like to start the day early, with lots of coffee, and typically start off with email. I then jump into my agenda for the day, some examples of what that might be are editing, marketing, blogging, etc. I typically always have a separate browser open on the side of my screen with something on Netflix. I love working from home! Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? Yes! I am always chasing a bunch of dreams, that's what keeps things exciting :) This year I have a wedding at a castle in Ireland, which I am looking forward to and was a big goal on my list. Now I am working towards checking off more locations / venues on my photography bucketlist and continue developing my brand to serve fairytale weddings around the world! Interview: When did you first discover your love of photography? I discovered photography on a website called Deviantart when I was 12 years old. While I was looking for drawing inspiration I stumbled upon a few self-portraits that took my breath away. Inspired in an unrecognisable way, I quickly turned on the only camera I had at the time - the almost antique one on my phone - and started taking photographs of myself on the front porch. I had no idea what I was doing but something about pressing the broken shutter button and creating a piece of art, no matter how terrible, appealed to me. Since then, my heart has been overflowing with love for this divine world we call photography. What inspires your creativity the most? Nature and music. Please tell us a little about the experience you had whilst working on this photoshoot? I created these images in my apartment in the evening. I used the kitchen and bathroom lights which was both challenging and fun.

Taya Iv Shooting in low light made me leave my comfort zone and helped my mind overcome its artistic boundaries. Please describe what an average day in your life looks like? I usually spend my mornings drinking tea and playing my beloved guitar. After that I'm a spontaneous monster -- shooting, exercising, studying, going out for walks, reading, drawing, laughing, writing, singing and enjoying life are what my days consist of. Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the nottoo-distant future; Do you have any exciting upcoming plans that you would like to share with us? I've been dreaming of being on a book cover for the longest time. I'd love to make that dream come true this year. FB: facebook.com/TayaSnow Flickr: flickr.com/photos/56919100@N05/

Θε Τρεε οφ Ηλικίες By Jenna Rainey jennaroserainey.wix.com/homepage

Come here behold the tree of ages, Played scene to many literary pages. For under its bronzed and aged faces, Have sat all variant of airs and graces. The stories this tired old oak could tell, Of childhood pasts to war-torn lovers all beguiled by its spell. Stood solely on a grassy knoll high on the hill, Where ghosts come and go of their own free will. Though thought of as a sacred place to each, When actually all those who wander can reach. To this day it still stands; a monument to the past, For all those days yet to come as well as the last. A symbol through the seasons as a test against time, Resemblant of the history all present in thine.
