After the initial impact of the COVID 19 pandemic in March and April of 2020, the Whistler market has shown

incredible resilience, and rebounded dramatically as Provincial Buyers look for vacation alternatives and long term investments. September and October saw the double the number of sales achieved in both 2018 and 2019, with 100 and 123 sales respectively. 2020 Sales have already surpassed the number achieved in 2019. This activity has increased the Average Price of a Whistler Property by approx 24.8%* over the previous year. YTD Dollar Volume traded was $830m, the same level seen in 2018, and 21% more than 2019. Available inventory has begun to shrink dramatically in November, with only 252* units available, similar to the peak of the market in 2017. Â Competition is high for desirable properties and Buyers know what they want. The 20/21 Ski Season is set to bring some challenges to Whistler, but as a well established year-round Resort, confidence is high for the future.
