passionate
Whitefield Academy, a Christ-centered college preparatory school, exists to bolster Christian families in rearing young people who go on to college and life with a passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus.
Passion for learning At Whitefield, academic success is achieved by inspiring young people through a rigorous curriculum as well as through instruction and mentoring by exemplary Christian teachers. Our intentional approach creates a more engaged student – one who is better prepared for college and beyond.
Passion for others ahead of self Whitefield teaches students to integrate servanthood into who they are, not just what they do, and develop a lifelong commitment to others ahead of self. Because serving others is the essence of leadership, Whitefield students are becoming strong, passionate leaders who actively share the love of Christ.
Passion for the living and active Jesus Each Whitefield faculty and staff member, administrator, and trustee professes faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. They play a critical role in ensuring that students are challenged to pursue a mature Christian faith and develop the leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills necessary to enable them to make a positive contribution to the world and a difference for Christ.

emerging LOWER SCHOOL
Whitefield Academy believes early education can be fun and include powerful learning. That is why our curriculum is based on teaching methods that balance traditional, teacher-led instruction along with child-centered exploratory learning. The Lower School strives to expose students to an education that fosters critical thinking and a mastery of skills through a growth mindset. This mindset allows students to make connections across all subject areas and apply their learning to an overall knowledge that is filtered through the truthful lens of a Biblical worldview. Special class offerings include music, art, Spanish, library, physical education, science lab, and technology. These offerings along with our robust after-school programs complete a well-rounded educational experience unique to Whitefield.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Middle School students have a lot of questions. Whitefield Academy’s Middle School academic program combines challenging coursework and Godly understanding of the world, teaching them to think logically, and to ask the right kind of questions. Students prepare for Upper School and beyond by gaining experience in leadership roles, collaborating with peers, and being mentored by Christian faculty, coaches, and staff members.
Students engage in a variety of programs created to guide their social and spiritual development, through which they are challenged to model integrity, selfcontrol, reliability, and morality. Students also enjoy social activities including the Middle School carnival, fifth and sixth-grade game night, seventh and eighthgrade dance, and start-of-year retreats.

UPPER SCHOOL
Whitefield Academy is a place where students identify their talents, explore the world around them, and develop their passions. A comprehensive array of AP and honors courses in history, math, science, literature, languages, and visual arts prepare our student for the demands of college. The key to our program’s success lies in developing the whole student – artistically, athletically, intellectually, socially, and spiritually – as well as in providing a variety of leadership opportunities. The depth of experience is a clear strength of the Upper School. Faculty invest in the lives of our students and are dedicated to helping students understand how their Upper School experience is preparing them for an eternal purpose. Our desire is to provide exceptional college preparation in a Christ-centered environment that readies students with a passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus.

ATHLETIC PROGRAM Coaches at Whitefield Academy understand that an athletic program serves to accomplish much more than building athletic skill; the attitudes and actions practiced on the field or court are often a reflection of the way adversities in life are approached. Our coaches are driven to act as mentors and are committed to preparing students to honor Christ in all areas of life. Whitefield has a state-of-the-art weight room with a full-time strength and conditioning coach who teaches student-athletes how to develop a healthy lifestyle and boost their speed and agility. In addition, our Sports Medicine program includes a full-time athletic training staff committed to providing preventative care, immediate attention to injury, and rehabilitation services for athletes.
