02. Brief

Krinklewood, Wollombi NSW

Krinklewood Winery’s new location focuses on creating a luxurious and contemporary winery experience by seamlessly integrating high-quality design elements with a sensory-rich environment. The design will explore a sophisticated combination of veneer wood, sleek concrete, and luxurious velvet fabrics to create an elegant atmosphere. Gold metallic accents will be incorporated to reflect the warm, rich hues of a sunset, enhancing the space’s sense of luxury. A maximalist approach will be adopted to mirror the high standards of Krinklewood’s wines, ensuring that the environment is both immersive and refined, elevating every aspect of the customer experience.

• Retail Venue: Design an area where customers can browse and purchase Krinklewood wines.

• Tasting Room: Create an elegant setting for wine tastings that enhances the sensory experience, with a focus on comfort and sophistication.

• Wine selling point: Develop a space for educational sessions about the wine production process and the unique qualities of Krinklewood’s offerings.

• Accommodation: Design an upstairs level for visitor accommodation, integrating luxury and comfort to provide a complete winery experience.

Transforming the winery experience by merging into the high luxury contemporary design. This reimagined space will be more than just a venue for wine tasting; it will be an immersive sensory journey that embodies the elegance and experience with Krinklewood’s wines. The design concept focuses on creating a refined ambiance through a blend of high-quality materials and maesthetics, highlighting and reflecting the unique craftsmanship and wine making heritage tradtion of Krinklewood. The space will serve as a multifunctional environment for wine tasting, retail selling point, and accommodation, elevating every aspect of the customer experience to reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence.

Krinklewood Winery is thrilled to introduce our new location in Wollombi, where we are poised to offer an unparalleled winery experience that merges luxury with contemporary design. Our mission is to elevate the enjoyment of Krinklewood wines by immersing their guests in an environment that mirrors the quality and sophistication of their brand.

As Valentina Moresco beautifully put it, “Wine is bottled poetry,” and at Krinklewood, they strive to turn every bottle into a tangible experience. Their new venue is designed to not only showcase their exceptional wines but to create a sensory journey that allows visitors to taste and feel the essence of Krinklewood within the space. The envision space that embodies elegance and refinement, where our guests can savor the unique flavors of their wines while engaging with the rich heritage and craftsmanship behind each bottle.

We look forward to welcoming you to Krinklewood’s new home, where tradition meets modern luxury, and every visit is a celebration of the art of winemaking.

Which significantly influences the weather patterns, this is also beneficial for agriculture, particularly viticulture, as it provides the necessary conditions for grape cultivation. The region has embraced its historical roots, developing from traditional agriculture to a leading wine-producing region.
