May 6 - 19, 2012

A Note from the Pastor In our new series of sermons—“On the Way Home,” we want to unpack some of the powerful lessons that God taught Simon Peter during his walk with the Lord. The application of these lessons is desperately needed as we, like Peter, face the gathering storm of the persecution of evangelical Christians in a secularized culture. Please pray for me as I lead you in this study. I need it as much as you do. What blesses me most about these messages is that the overarching theme of First and Second Peter is “hope.” Sure there are problems. Adversity, suffering, and pain are to be expected—but nothing blocks out the radiant Presence of the Holy Spirit as He focuses our minds upon our reigning and soon returning Savior and upon our gracious and loving Heavenly Father.

Let’s enjoy the journey home together.

Love in Jesus, Bro. Jimmy
