udy Satori: Author, Spiritual Teacher, Healer, Liaison to the Galactic Council delivers a message from Source in her new book Sunshine Before The Dawn. She’s here traveling the globe delivering tools for ascension using a new language, “light language” as described in her new book.

Interviewed by Tony Camacho WP: I like to start where I always start,

at the beginning, understanding a little bit of background. So I want to ask you what the little Judy Satori was like?

JS: Normal person. WP: Normal person. To that response, did you grow up in the United States?

JS: I grew up in New Zealand and I had

a very normal middle class upbringing and I didn’t have anything out of the ordinary happen to me spiritually.

WP: Your primary caregivers were your Mom and Dad?

JS: My mother and father and I have four younger sisters and I was the oldest, and I lived a very normal New Zealand life.

WP: Very nice. New Zealand being a

very beautiful country, I want to grasp what that is like-the normal New Zealand life.

JS: I grew up in a small town of about 18,000 people near the ocean, but we didn’t go swimming because the coast was very rocky. It was near a place called Christchurch; a little town called Ashburton.

WP: You went to grammar school there?

JS: Had all my schooling there and I

studied physiotherapy and I did this for several years. I then got married and had

two children. I have always been interested in spiritual things; I was also interested in marketing, talking to people and writing, so I worked in marketing, then made the transition to public relations.

WP: Would you classify your life as being spiritual, in a way, as a young mother?

JS: My life has always been spiritual, be-

cause as a young mother, I got involved in past life regression, I studied Elisabeth Kubler Ross, I also studied Course in Miracles. I did the entire Forum. I did all those personal development courses, also Avatar. Probably the first major thing out of the ordinary happened to me when I went to a bookstore in New York in1987 and I walked straight up to a book shelf and pulled out a book and it was Sanya Roman’s book “Open to Channel” I pulled it out I got energy flooding through my body, so I bought the book but I didn’t read it at the time.

WP: Did you understand what that was

when you were picking up the energy from the book?

JS: I have had quite unusual experiences, but I really didn’t know what they were about.

WP: If you could share a couple of those experiences.

JS: Yes, when I was twenty five every

time I got a headache I used to become

really fearful. My doctor suggested that I have some past life regression work. So I went to a hypnotherapist. I had a friend who died of leukemia, I hadn’t realized she was sick because I was only eight years old so it was a preset fear when she died and I didn’t know what had happened. And then the man that I was working with wanted to take me back to before I was born and I was a twin and my twin brother was stillborn, so I went back into that time, you know being a twin and your twin dies in the womb, that is also quite traumatizing, so that feeling about dying that got re-triggered when my friend died. So that is how all that programing came in. So I bought a book about it.

WP: Whose book did you buy? JS: I actually can’t remember. But when

I did the Elizabeth Kubler Ross’ death and dying work because I felt interested in it. I remember we had to draw a picture about our future. I drew a picture of two hands reaching out towards a diamond, a white diamond, all this light coming out of the diamond. I saw Barbara Brennan’s book with the same hands reaching up. I started training in energy healing based on Barbara Brennan’s teaching. So at the same time as I started to channel, I got a brochure in the mail about a channeling workshop in Auckland. I felt really compelled to go. I met

WP: It was nice that you checked in, that you intuitively said I better go to my higher dimensional beings, to trust what was coming to you.

JS: I trusted Balthazar, he was like a

friend, he had given me a lot of good advice during that year, he’s still with me. So anyway Orgone came to teach me about energy. I started working with all these ascended masters and archangels.

WP: But before you talked about the en-

ergy, and this energy coming to you, and teaching you, were you learning in parallel with Barbara’s work or had you already put that aside?

JS: I was learning in parallel with Barba-

ra’s work. It was a three year course. And, probably the next major thing that happened was I remember one day I went to a spiritual artist who used to draw your guides. I had a picture in my mind of him being a tall, dark man with a dark black beard. So I sat down and she started to draw this face with pastels. I started to cry; I could see this face that I saw in my head coming alive, it was frightening. Well, he told me he was Persian, and he totally looked like it and I still have his painting today. It is beautiful.

WP: Let me interrupt for a moment, how

did you come to acquire the wisdom, the knowledge, the skill to teach?

JS:

Because of my guides. When working with the ascended masters and archangels, they spoke to me, so I listened. I have always followed what Spirit asked me to do. They said, ‘We want you to teach

channeling.’ And I said, I don’t know how to do that.

WP: Were you familiar with any people who connected with higher dimensional beings at that time?

JS: None. WP: You hadn’t heard of Lazarus or Seth or any of the others?

my first spiritual guide; he told me his name was Balthazar and he looked like a tall, dark man with a little black beard, in a purple robe and dark black eyes. He told me that he was one of three wise men and had come to teach me about energy. His energy came into me, I shook really violently and the words that came out of my mouth were not my voice. And the next major thing that happened was, a year later exactly, I was walking down the beach one night, came home, did my usual stint with Balthazar as I would channel every day, and his energy didn’t come through, instead, another voice, another energy, said in a very large voice, my name is Orgone, and it was quite a strange energy, and so I was a bit concerned and I said “Balthazar, is it okay?” and he said yes.

JS: Yes, I had read the Seth books years

before, but I had never been to a channeling session. So I said how do I do that? And they said we will teach you. So they spent a weekend, teaching me step by step. Then I asked how do I get it out?

WP: Good question. JS: And they said I want you to send out an invitation to 50 of your friends and invite them to come along and charge them one hundred dollars for the weekend. So I did and twenty two people showed up.

WP: That was great. When I hear these

kinds of stories, I always pause for a moment because I think it was very courageous of you to embark on this journey.

JS: But you see, I had to do this from the moment I started doing this work, I have had to just step out on faith and that is what I say to everybody. You know when we take one step the next step is automatically shown.

WP: We have to take action. JS: So I taught this workshop. It was in August 1999 in this beautiful office in downtown Auckland, twenty-two people showed up, so I did these techniques that Spirit taught me and to my surprise, they all started to channel, every single person.

WP: That’s impressive. JS: I was totally blown away. On the

next day we were all sitting in The Coffee Barun in downtown Auckland, and all morning I had been getting the words in my mind “we want you to channel, to bring in the Council of Orion…” and I said to my mind who is the Council at Orion, who are you? And they said it is okay we want you to do this. So I said at lunch time-I had a cup of coffee in my hand-so I said to them, if you really want me to do this, you have got to give me an energy sign. mighty shake and the coffee went flying. So at the end of the workshop that day I said to everybody, I am being told to channel the Council at Orion I don’t know who they are but let’s see what happens.

WP: It is always fascinating to me, is there a part of you that wants to say “hey you sound interesting; I am hearing your request, why should I channel you? What are you offering”?

JS: I trusted. I could discern, I knew

how to distinguish the energy. I could feel the goodness, the love.

WP: Have there been experiences for

you where you felt a loving presence that wanted you to communicate some information, but it was darker, masking itself as a loving energy?

JS: Yes, I have and we go through various solstice of discernment. There have been energies that have not been nice.

WP: So it’s a much more complex job

in a way, like looking at a thousand different maps.

JS: Yes, so I had to learn to become a

multi linguist, a translator of many different vibrations, and to be able to discern them.

WP: It’s been a lofty task indeed. JS:There have been challenges but such joy along with it.

WP: Absolutely. So you are moving

along, you are channeling a bunch of different entities, a lot of different energies, you learned some skills, you refined it so you knew with clarity as to the energy being benevolent or malevolent.

JS: So after the Council of Orion, I was

JS: At that time, seventeen or eighteen

years ago, they came out of me in a different voice, but now they don’t, they come out in my voice.

WP: It’s always a fascinating process; it’s something I have given thought to. My son channels, a bit. My question is, as that energy, whatever energy it is, whatever entity it is that is coming into you, wanting to share the message, and you have made a choice to allow that to happen because you sense and feel that it is a good energy, a healthy energy, a learning energy. Are there moments when that energy comes into you where it feels as though it is so expansive, like it’s pushing beyond your physical body, expanding it in a way, does that make any sense, that question?

JS: Yes, it does. I feel a part of me way

more expanded than my human personality. I feel absolute love and joy and heightened vibration. I have felt that my body has changed a great deal; it’s become slimmer, more refined. I used to feel heavy at times when my energy expanded, no longer.

WP: Do you also experience this, that

energy is coming into you, and the information is being shared, this information that you personally are not aware of, where you find yourself searching for words, they are telling you something but you are not sure how to put an English word to it?

doing it with your notes and perfecting the notes, is allowing the human part of you to get in the way.

JS: All I get now is a topic, except I do

know that there are seven processes that Spirit is going to be bringing through, working with the Galactic Council. Scientists say there are twenty galaxies in the local group. I have been told there are twenty two. So I am working with extraterrestrial energies to move this galaxy forward. And my work now is working with Source energy, God energy. I work with the Elohim a lot. So now, I am bringing through words of new creation because in the beginning mankind was created with the word and these new words are energy, sound, light and vibration; a very fast language, a language of recoding the soul.

WP: Just for clarification sake, when

you talk about Elohim you are referencing to God?

JS: I am talking about the creation energy of God or Source, or Universal Consciousness. And even though I started working with Balthazar and the ascended masters that was to prepare me to handle multi-frequencies, multi-dimensional frequencies. Now I am working directly with Source energy.

WP: So you have been doing this for

JS: At times, this is very true, and then

it is my responsibility to translate that information into English, is a little bit challenging.

eighteen years. And you have acquired a lot of skills and through the process of coming into contact with all of these different energies, it really has refined your process and opened you to take in more information, you have become an encyclopedia, if I may describe you in this way.

WP: So my next question is, when that

JS: Yes, I am. I didn’t know this would be

sitting there and I said to the people I am going to bring this energy through. It was a blast of white light that came through my body like I have never experienced since. It was just incredible. And all this information came out of my mouth without me orchestrating it. It’s been validating to me, the fact that the people could channel, could do something that they didn’t think they could.

WP: Isn’t that interesting. JS: So that whole weekend I just had to

unusual experience in the beginning of 1998. It led me to understand my purpose, to activate dormant aspects of human genome. And the way this is done is with the energy words that I speak. A lot of my work is on my website, I have this free Ascension library so people can listen to clear a lot of the karma miasmic pattern.

WP: And do you see us, the population in general at large, as of now or even in

the last three, four or five years, of coming to a space of being able to alter and shift our DNA?

JS: Yes, we certainly are because when

the earth shifted in vibration on the 25th of December 2012, it was a long lead up process as you know. The shift happened and the earth really started vibrating fully in the fifth dimension. It’s been a process. The requirements for activating our DNA potential, is unlike the DNA of any other star nation within this galaxy. My book “The Sunshine Before the Dawn” shares the story I received.

WP: So how does that correlate, or

how does it contradict or align with the idea of the Kundalini energy of bringing you into a space of oneness with the universe?

JS: They are really different, and the

DNA has to do with the recipe of human life and the DNA is the coding of the human genome; a billion words in the DNA code that translates into the nucleic acid card, the amino acids that create our physical bodies and are really a part of the entire behavioral characteristic that we have. The code that we inherit from our parents and our ancestors is only a part of the picture. My guides have told me it’s only about a fifth of our genetic input. The soul DNA, the soul’s akashic record stores our past lives, soul energy, the DNA of the soul is much more vital and powerful than half of who we are. The physical DNA gets our physical characteristic sure, but we can change our physical characteristics when we merge into our soul, the physical body will comply to that vibration because the physical follows the energy.

WP: So if we were looking at pictures

of you back when you were twenty and a picture of you now, what would we see different?

JS: When you are opening up the

kundalini you tend to be connecting up to the upper chakras, the eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth chakras, which are more Divine, more Divinely connected, they’re more expansive, more unified, connected with Source which is why we feel so amazing when we open up the kundalini. But that is not part of the DNA recoding.

WP: So what is the message? Source,

that is connecting through you, is wanting to have you communicate what to us, to the population of those on the planet?

JS: Well, when I came to California,

Spirit asked me to do a series of talks called A New Beginning for Humanity. They wanted us to understand that we came here from the stars, many of us, to take into our previous star oriented souls, the human DNA, because human DNA is something special.

WP: The problem would be, and this is maybe not an accurate way to describe it, is energetically you are not refined enough to deal with this kind of energy. I mean you would be blown to smithereens.

JS: Yes, for example, the earth was third

WP: But one of my questions that

popped up as you were sharing , is the notion in some way is that earth is a fictitious place, it is not really a place.

JS: But it used to be Tara. WP: And, so how is it impacting other planets where there are other beings, etc. How are they dealing with the added energies that are coming into our galaxy?

JS: I am not sure but we can ask them. WP: I like that. JS: So why don’t we ask them. I will call in the representative from the Pleiades we could, and I want to ask this question. How is the energy coming into the star gate affecting Pleiades? “They say we

WP: And so when is the projection, the

way you see it, the way you have gathered information, how it is unfolding in the next two or three years for the earth and for its occupants.

JS: First of all, I can talk about what I

have been asked to do and then Spirit, the Galactic Council, can talk about what they see. R Patient: Juliet Medical Issue: Lyme’s disease, lack of mental clarity. When I first looked at Juliet, the biggest blockage I saw was in her heart, due to the lack of trust in others, especially men. She also had blockages in her solar plexus and in her brain. I saw clairvoyant pictures of how she has shut herself away from the world due to her lack of trust. Juliet has had many traumas. In a past life I saw her as a dirty girl with matted black hair being traded for slavery in the Middle East. She had big wide eyes and watched the world go by as she traveled past villages in a cage on wheels. The road was packed of hard earth and a camel led the caravan. The girl and the camel were similar in that they both wore chains around their feet. The girl had been a master of escape and earned the right to wear metal cuffs. I was surprised to see that despite her imprisonment, the girl liked the adventure involved in her “job.” She felt important that people paid attention to her and that she no longer had to beg for food. I asked Juliet if she has

known any camels in this lifetime and she replied, “Only a tourist camel I rode in Turkey”. I believe this tourist camel and Juliet were known to each other in the past. Their second meeting was an opportunity to remember the past life and heal; as we are all pons and knights in this game called life. How we judge our lives is relative to what we know. The small slave-girl felt good in her position and was orienting herself positively. Seeing the good in all things is something that Juliet lost over the lifetimes. What is causing Juliet’s Lyme’s disease today is her orientation of thought. After so many “bad” experiences, lifetime after lifetime, Juliet began to think that life is mostly negative and that you can’t trust anyone. Now her orientation has changed to negativity. This is detrimental to her health as it manifests negative experiences from people who were innocent. In other words, even if a person has good intention toward Juliet, she won’t see it. This negative orientation causes a life of struggle and ill health. I told Julia that she must expect the best in life without any attachments. This is

what I call having a positive orientation to life. I gave her an exercise to do where she must imagine herself as a young woman in a grassy field picking flowers with the wind blowing. Suddenly her mom yells down to her from the house above, “Come quick!” Now Juliet must fill in the blanks using her positive orientation. When we first did the exercise Juliet imagined negative situations. Now she must see positive experiences, such as her beloved father coming home after six months apart, running up to her and giving her a hug and swinging her in the air. We must expect the best when we hear the phone ring, our name called or a knock at the door! This is how we re-orient ourselves positively, and thus, create a beautiful life. We further promote this by seeing the gift in all things, even if you are being served papers or get the news of a death. Trust is a choice that must begin with the self. The only true trust comes from how we feel. Should we do this or that? Can we trust ourselves and our decisions? If we think negatively we create negative situations as they reflect our thoughts and feelings. When we lose trust in our-

selves we also lose trust in the world. Julia is an example of this. She has become good at manipulation and control. This is because if people are untrustworthy then Julia must do everything on her own and take the job of God. It is not her job to control others but only herself and how she feels. Life is about sharing and believing in one’s self and others. That’s what gets healthy energy moving in our bodies and the great mother Earth to spin around. When trust levels are low it makes a person vulnerable to outside attack. It may start with family and friends and then move to strangers, then to the insect world (tick bite), and then beyond that to the spiders from other worlds. One reason why Lyme’s disease is difficult to cure is because it deals with extraterrestrial beings, such as spiders from another world. These spiders are evasive and come and go (because they are spirits without bodies) based on your level of empowerment. Spiders feed off of jealousy, fear, guilt, shame and the like. They enhance these negative emotions and in so doing, feed off of the human host. The more empowered and good you feel the less spiders may control you. When you control your emotions, they lose their power. If you get caught up in controlling and manipulating others to make the world fit to you, they gain forces. Orientating yourself positively is the best way to heal all wounds and disease. Some may call it love. I call it self-care and positive orientation no matter what the situation. radition is defined as “something that is handed down” or “a long established or inherited way of thinking and acting.” In celebrating the holidays there are some traditions that many of us share and others that are particular to our families, our faiths and our communities. During years of communicating with the spirits, how they continue to contribute to (and even change) family traditions remains a constant theme.

For instance, during a session scheduled two weeks before Christmas, an 11-year-old boy in spirit showed me a vision of a Christmas tree decorated with homemade ornaments. He drew my attention to a sleigh made of Popsicle sticks which was confirmed as his favorite. His mother explained that every year their family would make ornaments to decorate their tree. At the time of our session, the idea of setting up a tree without her

By Medium Hollister Rand son was too painful. However, her son insisted on having a Christmas tree - - with a difference. In my mind’s eye, he showed me a picture of a live tree planted in the yard with an “X” drawn over a picture of a traditional Christmas tree. When I mentioned this, his mother responded with, “Well, we’ve been thinking about planting a tree in our yard in memory of our son.” Shortly after Christmas, I received a photo of a small tree planted in the back yard and festooned with homemade ornaments. Orbs and mist appeared between the branches, so thick that it was even obscuring some of them. Although winter wasn’t the best time to plant a tree, it continued to thrive. Because of the pain associated with his loss, I have no doubt that this son in spirit was helping his parents to celebrate the holiday in a new (and

life affirming) way. By doing so, the family honored the evolving of the tradition suggested by their son and he, in turn, demonstrated his participation by showing up in the photos as orbs and mist. There were so many orbs in the photo that I’m sure other family members in spirit were visiting as well! Another holiday tradition often mentioned by the spirits, is food. This might seem odd because spirits don’t have physical bodies requiring nourishment. However, in nearly all cultures, food is central to celebrating holidays. Therefore, it shouldn’t be surprising that the spirits often refer to traditional family recipes. During a session with two young women, their father in spirit gave me a taste of the delicious pasta that he made from scratch every Christmas. He also showed me a holiday table laden with pasta, and two kinds

Another family told me about a pyrotechnic display provided by their mother in spirit. When I mentioned that their mother was saying to them, “Don’t forget to light the candles,” one daughter laughingly relayed that during the first holiday season after their mother had passed, the candles on the table burned down to nubs in less than a minute. Since it was a family tradition that the candles be lit only when the entire family was gathered at the table, they were convinced that their mother was making sure that her presence was noted as well.

Pets in spirit also refuse to be left out of the festivities. For a Golden Retriever named Sadie, a holiday highlight was receiving a tube of tennis balls. When Sadie died on December 1st one year, her owners were devastated. In Sadie’s memory, they placed a tube of tennis balls under the tree. Imagine their surprise when on Christmas morning they awoke to find the balls scattered throughout the living room! After confirming that no one in the family had taken matters into their own hands, Sadie’s owners came to the conclusion that she and Santa Claus had enjoyed a Christmas Eve game of fetch. If we’re concerned whether spirits are aware of the tributes we make to them during the holidays, a young man in spirit of nineteen put that question to rest. He was brought up in the Episco-

When mentioning Christmas, he showed me a picture in my mind of hundreds of poinsettia plants on an altar and said, “thank you” while pointing to his parents. When I passed his “thank you” along, his Mom and Dad confirmed that every year they decorate the altar at their church with red and white poinsettias in memory of their son. Loved ones in spirit know that holiday traditions provide a sense of continuity from generation to generation. This is why, I think, that they make such an effort to make their presence known during the season of celebrations. Holiday memories made with loved ones while they were here on earth, continue to be shared in the afterlife. The spirits also share in the new memories we make with family and friends. So do the spirits honor holiday traditions? Yes, they do as a way to demonstrate their presence in our lives and that their love lives on.

The king, pauper, poor and meek were all equal in his eyes. He had no enmity towards anyone and he always engaged in doing good deeds. He was beyond honor or insults. He saw God in every living being. It was said Baba took bodily form only to favor the people, to destroy evil thoughts and obstinacy, and to protect the people’s togetherness.

Today, I will share a glimpse into the rich history of this saint who gave only one PIN code in his life that is considered the fourth opening mantra before beginning any meditation, healing or teaching to pull higher divine energy. First, I will share a little about the unfathomable life-story of Baba that is filled with mystical experiences, miracles, and supernatural skills that came at a high price of strife, being outcast and homeless. Shirdi Sai Baba is a sadguru, an enlightened teacher that lived until 1918 when he consciously left his body, called maha samadhi, that is honored every year on Vijayadashami, an annual Indian celebration under many names, of the victory of light over dark. It was estimated he was around his mid to late 80’s when he took-off. The reason no one knows his real age is because his birth date is unknown. It was widely understood he was immaculately conceived. His mother was a huge Shiva devotee. Everyday when she did pradakshina (walk clockwise in circles) around a Shiva temple, she prayed Shiva would

incarnate as her son. One day, Shiva appeared to her and asked her what she wanted. She asked for him to be born as her baby. She immaculately conceived this child who later came to be known as Shirdi Sai Baba. When she came home to tell her husband the great news of her divine pregnancy, his blocks of anger and jealousy surfaced. Instead of being happy, he was so mad and jealous that Shiva did not appear to him too, that he left his wife. She was so insecure and attached to her husband that once she gave birth to Shirdi, she abandoned her baby to follow her husband. Baba was born self-realized but was an orphan. He soon met Venkusa, a septarishi, who became his friend and guru. Some of his peers became jealous of Baba and tried to kill him by throwing a brick at his head, making him profusely bleed In that moment, Baba called for his master Venkusa who miraculously suspended the brick in the air, ready to hit the boys who threw it at Baba. They ran back to the ashram to Venkusa and begged for forgiveness but he told them to ask Baba for forgiveness, otherwise the brick would come down on their heads! They fell at Baba’s feet and asked for his forgiveness and Baba opened his heart and gave it. Baba said he was an instrument of God. Many mistook his miracles for black magic. The townspeople conspired to deny him food and shelter and treated him as a crazy homeless man instead of a holy man. He healed the blind, lame, and cured undiagnosable diseases. Eventually, after giving many supernatural healings to people outside the city for 18 years, he was invited to come and stay in the town of Shirdi. He lived in a dilapidated temple now referred to as the Dwarkamai. Everyday Baba, who lived as a beggar, knocked on doors for food as he consciously took the karmas of those whose homes he visited for conscious alms. He shared everything he had with the poor and fed the wild and street animals with what he was given. He begged daily for oil to light the four lamps in the corners of his Dwarkamai for light each night. One day, all the merchants conspired to not give Baba any oil and laughed at the idea of what he would do that night…as if this enlightened master did not know what

they were up to. That night, the merchants watched to see what Baba would do since he had no oil for his lamps. Baba drank some water, did a yogic process, then regurgitated the water into the lamps and proceeded to lite them. The merchants were astonished how Baba lit water on fire! They submitted themselves to him and asked for his forgiveness for harassing him and treating him scornfully. Baba said these four flames represent the four pillars of creation: satya (truth), dharma (right action), shanti (peace) and prema (love). These supernatural flames still burn today in Shirdi though they are hidden from the public eye. In August 2015, I will lead a sacred journey to India to this power spot. Baba was full of compassion and his creed was to oblige even those who had offended him and disregarded their injury to him. He loved all people and no one had cause to fear him. He cared for them as if they were his own children. Baba fulfilled the desires of those who came to see him from far and wide. He would clear people’s doubts and give solutions to their problems. He cleansed the disciple’s mind to sow the seeds of knowledge in it. Baba said, “I will continue to give you what you want until you want what I want to give you”. Most who came to him asked for worldly or bodily desires and few asked for what really mattered. Shooting pains in the stomach of one person, an ear ache of another, tuberculosis of a third person were all cured by merely seeing him. Looking at his picture is equal to seeing him. Many parts of this article have been extracted from the book, Sri Sai Satcharita by Hemadpant; that is the only book written with Baba’s blessings about him when he was alive. If you listen to it day and night, the bonds of worldly attachment will be broken and be full of happiness! It will cause waves of love and devotion to rise on the ocean of the mind, and diving into them now and then, will bring up gems of knowledge. The complex tragedies of drug addiction are as familiar as they are heartbreaking, affecting nearly forty percent of individuals in the Western world. However new breakthroughs in neuroscience are now helping us to better understand, prevent, and successfully treat addiction in ways previously unimaginable.

rain, mind, and behavior specialists are now re-thinking their entire perception of addiction, and with the help of advanced neuroscience they’re challenging the long held assumptions and popular views of what exactly addiction is. From this research emerges two radically different schools of thought: addiction as a disease, caused by a physical abnormality of the brain or addiction as a learned behavior—meaning destructive repeating patterns of behavior– or in other words–addiction as a matter of choice. For the most part, evidence that addiction is a solvable learned behavioral problem rather than a chronic, physical ailment has been seen as extremely encouraging news, but it’s also highly controversial. Traditionally addiction is described as a physical disease that changes the way the brain works, just like diabetes changes the way the pancreas works. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Brain-imaging studies from drug-addicted individuals show physical changes in areas of the brain that are critical for judgment, decision making, learning, memory, and behavior control, and they pin point dopamine -- the body’s natural pleasure or “feel good” neurotransmitter-- specifically as the culprit. From this perspective, impairments in the brain predispose a person to be at high risk for addiction, and leaves them particularly vulnerable to artificial highs. Although this medical model of addiction as a disease is in part accurate, new discoveries about the brain have turned upside many previously held notions. The most revolutionary finding has been the discovery that the human brain can actually change itself, what Neuroscientists call “Neuroplasticity”, a term that refers to the brain’s ability to restructure

its physical and genetic characteristics and reorder its functional anatomy from top to bottom, solely through the act of focused thought or learned behavior. This Neuroplastic model of the brain provides the long awaited scientific evidence for why some who suffer from addiction are able to simply quit and get better by themselves—without the need for formal medical treatment or support. Research shows that many people who have been addicted to cigarette smoking, alcohol or harder drugs have successfully quit on their own after making careful and deliberate shifts in their behavior, proving that people can and do permanently walk away from addiction by retraining their brains to do so—and the science of Neuroplasticity has been crucial to understanding this, demonstrating that everyone can potentially break free of addictions, if only we learn to retrain our brains to develop healthy neural pathways that foster Positive Passions™ and create balance in our lives. midst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, deeper issues present themselves in the month of December. On a mundane level, we may be forced to examine our values… “Hey what’s important here? Who is important here?” as we go shopping for that perfect gift. The question becomes … on what value system are you basing your choices? December is the twelfth month of the calendar year and this Number adds down to the Number Three. In Tarot Card interpretation, this is the Empress and that girl loves to shop! She is the mother energy that brings in nurturing, abundance, expressions of tenderness and a focus about working with children. All this energy is so perfect for the Christmas season. A feeling of extravagance and feeling rich illuminates her world.

In Astrology, big daddy Jupiter brings this abundance along also with this vibration. Currently traveling through the sign of Leo until June 2015, all of us will find sources and resources to bring abundance into our lives. The question still becomes what are your values? Focusing more on the Number Twelve of December we find ourselves re-visiting that question. on earth did I get myself into this situation!” More deeply, the Hang Man energy is about attitude adjustment through reversals of situations in one’s life often brought about by significant emotional situations about one’s personal value system. As an Esoteric Numerologer studying the ancient viewpoints surrounding Numbers since 1988, it has been found that the Number Twelve represents completion of a full cycle of experiences. The spiritual leaders of old often had to advise their followers to exhibit “a reversal of conduct, requiring different evolving lifestyles for their spiritual growth.”

Author Faith Javane, in her book MASTER NUMBERS, Cycles of Divine Order offers this explanation. “When individuals enter an incarnation as Number Twelves, they have already had a full cycle of experiences and learned of the possibility of regeneration toward a higher consciousness. They belong to the group of developed souls who have accumulated unusual inner strength through many and varied experiences from many lifetimes in the flesh. However, these people still may be hindered by old habits that need to be changed. Therefore, the soul attracts that which it needs as a learning experience. A reversal of negative thoughts can bring about positive effects and aid in achieving ideal goals or aspirations. If challenged, the Number Twelve person’s initial response might be “why me?” Instead, they should think “why not me?” When it comes to prosperity Twelves usually blame their ill-luck on others rather than on their own selfish

thinking. In that case, the Law of Reversal would correct the situation”…an attitude adjustment about their values and self-worth.

For many of us, especially Scorpios, these very situations may have turned life upside down. Saturn, the disciplinarian of the Universe, has been in Scorpio for the last two years…since October 5, 2012. A shift into Sagittarius occurs on or about December 23, 2014 but Saturn will return to Scorpio June 2015 for a final six weeks of “tying up loose ends”. For many of us, this has been a time to finally face anything we might be running from and to be wholly transformed by the experience. oes my dog like his pet sitter? ~ How to Communicate with Your Pet To Find Out Dear Lori, With the holidays coming up, I have recently begun to interview new pet sitters since I are going away on vacation and will not be able to bring my (very large) dog with me - his name is Bruce (I call him Brucey-Boy). I am worried that I might make a mistake since we had a bad pet sitter in the past. Is there a way for me to communicate with him to know if he likes the pet sitters I interview? ~ Thank you for all you do, Charlotte Dear Charlotte, This is a fabulous question for us animal lovers. We hire someone we think and hope is responsible and loving, and they (our beloved

pets) want someone who is fun and will be there as often as possible and will love them like we do. We can’t always be sure and so naturally, we worry obout our companions while we are away. Its a delima! Luckily, the answer is easy ~ just ask him!

YES! Ask Bruce directly. Say to him outloud, with your words: “Bruce, I am going to be interviewing pet sitters to stay with you while I am on vacation. I want to know that this person will take good care of you, and also that you will enjoy being with this person too. So, if you like the person, please make it very obvious by saying hello to this person and interacting with this person pleasantly. If you do not like this person, please also make that very obvious too, by simply ignoring this person and staying away. I will do my part to make sure this peson is responisble. You do your part to let me know if you like him/her. Then I

can make the best decision for both of us. Thank you Bruce for actively particpating and for helping me with this important decision!” While this is not actually a form of animal telepathy, it is indeed a form of animal communication and it is very effective. We humans have always believed that our animal companions don’t really understand our words and so we don’t typically speak to them in this way. In reality, our animal companions understand energetic vibration. Everything is energetic vibration, including our words. Trusting yourself (and The Universe ~ my interjection) that you will find the absolute right sitter for Bruce, will really get you the results you are looking for.

hat to do when a person who has been your best friend, turns on you? Very few things in relationships can hurt more. I have heard clients say that they would rather the friend had died, because they think that missing them would hurt less than this turn, even though it might only be temporary. Of all kinds of hurts in life, this particular one may be more difficult than others to deal with for at least four reasons. Firstly, it is hard not to take it personally, since the relationship was personal, period. Secondly, your best friend may have been the one you turned to at times like this, and they are not there for you. Thirdly, a true best friend is tied emotionally to many experiences in life that have been shared, and thus darken the prospect of ever enjoying them again,

Fourthly, the friend may know your hot buttons, or “secrets” that may have been, or could possibly be used “against” you, or the fear of having them shared with others. Though I usually suggest to my clients, family and friends that they try and find the gift in each seemingly negative situation, this one can be a challenge. How can one possibly look at this situation and see the opportunity, especially when emotions tend to cloud one’s thinking at times like these? The first thing I suggest is to take a moment to feel ones feelings. This is not as easy as it sounds. Most people think they are feeling their feelings, when they are labeling their current state as anger or possibly disgust, disdain, etc.… (all of which ultimately distill down to fear).

However, in the feeling of the feelings, I encourage people to contemplate WHY the situation makes them angry, (obvious reasons aside). It’s easy to say something like, “He/She shouldn’t have done that,” or “A true friend wouldn’t do that to a friend.” If one however processes the anger/fear it is quite possible to get to one of two helpful conclusions. One conclusion might be, “I see how much I truly love Him/ Her.“ In this case you can take the gift of discovering that even with such “hurt,” you truly love this person, unconditionally. Then you can work on what you need to change in yourself, or in your relating with your friend in order to make the relationship more whole than it was. The other conclusion that may surface while feeling the feelings, is that friendship with this

In the case where you discover that you love your friend “unconditionally,” then on your way to mending and creating a more whole relationship, there are a few growth steps that you can take. You can start by asking the question, “If He/She has been such a good friend, what would make them turn like that?” This allows us to look at the situation from other angles. This is more easily said than done, and more easily done after feeling the feelings and analyzing them, and sometimes after much time has passed. One could delve deeper and ask, “what might be going on with my friend?” “Is His/Her medication acting up?” “Is He/She having trouble in His/ Her marriage, job, health?” When one looks at the situation from these kinds of questions, the answers, (though they may not excuse some behavior), might shed light on an opportunity to be a better friend, help the friend, and/ or have a better friendship.

person was out of balance, or that each was growing in opposite directions, or the friendship was a friendship of convenience that no longer was convenient, for example. In this case, the gift is obvious, because potentially, neither party consciously wanted to be the one to break up the friendship. Unconsciously, something bubbled up in the way that it did. In this case, the gift could be that the relationship had to change or be dissolved.

Just as important, if not more so, are the questions directed to self. “What would make Him/Her turn on my like that?” “What was it that I did, said, implied?” “Is this something that they have been thinking about me all along, and never had the courage to say?” You can see how the honest answers to these questions could be answers on how to be a better you, which could be the ultimate gift of such a situation. As friends, at times, we take each other for granted. Many times we allow our friends to do certain things that we don’t like, and viceversa, “because we love them,” or because they love us. And sometimes, certain things become not okay, as one or both parties grow or change. Without knowing how to change the relationship, these kinds of situations become inevitable. However, no matter how much they hurt, the gifts, and the opportunities for a better you, and a better friendship can be the best gifts, along with a beastie back to bestie and a frenemy back to friend!

In order to step into the abundance that surrounds you, it is important that you become way more aware that what you see, through the veils of existence, is for real. Stop saying that there is a difference between this and that and just let go of any and all need to have distinctions.
