BRINGING THE

EMPLOYEE VALUE PROPOSITION TO LIFE

LEAVING

OVERVIEW OF THE EMPLOYEE VALUE PROPOSITION “Why should I join Wesfarmers Insurance?” “What is it like to work here?” “What does Wesfarmers Insurance expect of me?” Our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) helps answer these questions and captures the essence of what it means to work for Wesfarmers Insurance. Our EVP evolved from talking to our people and asking them what they like about working here. It is both authentic and aspirational, and reflects what we do well and what we are focusing on to make our company a great place to work.

About this guide Our leaders play a key role in influencing the employee experience and in delivering our EVP. This guide provides an overview of the key EVP messages, actions and tools to assist leaders. There are four key components of the EVP: Make a Difference; Work in Great Teams; Grow & Develop; and Be Rewarded & Recognised. In addition, the way in which people join and leave the company is an important part of the employee experience, so we have included sections in this Guide on a Great Start and Leaving.
