In 2020, Ever-Green-View Angora-ET EX-93 topped the milk and protein production lists from Holstein Association USA. At 9-01 she made a record of 73,970 pounds of milk, 4.5% fat, 3,341 pounds of fat, 3.0% protein and 2,194 pounds of protein in 365 days on a three-time a day milking schedule. Angora was fresh on December 17, 2019 and is still milking. Her lifetime to date record is now over 300,000 pounds of milk with 357,280 pounds of milk, 13,861 pounds of fat and 11,772 pounds of protein. This National Elite Performer also ranks high in the nation for both milk and protein across a number of lactations. She has a National 4-year-old record for milk production and just completed one of the largest records in the U.S. She is also Dam of Ever-Green-View Angora: Lar-Lan KK Gwyn the WHA Top Performer for Angelina-ET EX-90 6- to 9-year-olds. Angora is a Superstition daughter from Lar-Lan KK Goldwyn Angelina-ET EX-90. Behind Angelina is a VG-86 Outside then eight generations of Excellent dams. Angora has a number of granddaughters in the herd that are scored Very Good and are making exceptional milk records of their own. One in particular, Ever-Green-View Ad Hoc, (Helix x Mogul x Angora) just went Excellent and has a 2-year-old 365-day record of 39,490 pounds of milk, 5.1% fat, 2005 pounds of fat, 3.5% protein and 1384 pounds of protein. Ever-Green-View TT Silvy-ET EX-91 (Silver) has a 93-point mammary system and is also featured among the top 10 producers for fat in Wisconsin. Tasha’s Jedi daughter TT is scored VG-88 at 2-years-old. Tang and Taco are Modesty daughters out of Tasha that are milking well as 2-year-olds and are both scored VG-87 VG-MS. Tang’s record is: 365 days, 43,299 pounds of milk, 5.0% fat, 2169 pounds of fat, 3.5% protein and 1521 pounds of protein. Taco’s record is: 365 days, 43,872 pounds of milk, 4.2% fat, 1855 pounds of fat, 3.4% protein and 1493 pounds of protein. Tango Tasha, Angora and their herd mates all receive the same care. The Kestells feed a one group TMR and all cows are expected to perform on this ration. Their tiestall is equip with waterbeds and tunnel ventilation for enhanced cow comfort. The balance of a high-quality ration and comfortable living conditions allow the Ever-Green-Herd to excel in production with an average of 44,532 pounds of milk, 4.23% fat, 1883 pounds of fat, 3.2% protein, and 1425 pounds of protein while scoring well.
