GIS/Layout Works
Site/ Risk analysis
GIS becomes an essential tool for urban planning and site analysis. Many projects involve map and GIS analysis. Some of GIS and map works collections done in the past 10 years is shown in this page
An Individual class project: finds damage value of houses in a Rotterdam flood risk area The project is a mockup project base from my experience in an insurance risk .assessment company The project finds the land level outside of the riverbank to locate high inundate flood risk area. The area is analyzed land level base on digital elevation map in comparison to the estimated rainfall data. To reduce the complexity of the project the volume of rainfall on the surface is calculated assuming no ground water absorption. The area affected area considering to houses affected by it and estimated total value base on the house price and yearly risk expense base on the return period of the high amount of rainfall. The amount of rainfall was 269,510.08 cu.m base on 96mm of rainfall. The amount will affect 1655 household taken up an area of 218,371 sq.m., or 655,112,554 Euro which could be divided to 396 Euro .per year per building or 3 Euro per sq.m This amount could be used to estimate the risk and maintenance tax or insurance of a risk area considering the value of catastrophe that bound to happen. This estimated loss value could be used to invest in financial saving for recovery or flood prevention infrastructure
Class project: finds student accomodation with good accessibility The project required to find numbers of student accommodation which located near public transports within 500m walking distance there were 53 student accommodations near the public transportation stops in Amsterdam
Milk farm service coverage analysis The project was requested to find the best location for farm investment. The criterion of search is the suppliers and market
Class project: find highest density district The project categorizes districts by density based on the number of students in student accommodations in the area. The result shown that the district Planciusbuurt Zuid in south east of Amsterdam has highest density of student in student accommodation
Multi Jobs : 2013-2021
Class project: find shortest, closest distance services The project finds the closest hospital nearest to a student accommodation and demonstrate a route to one of the hospital
Inland flood analysis The project requires flood risk estimation of a premise. The projected extreme rainfall and internal drainage capacity (manning's method) were used to calculate the possibility of flood risk and extent which the property could be damaged In consideration of the flood prevention measure.

Risk Audit
Relevants skills
Risk audit is a part of risk management, in this case for insurance company. In my perspective assessing risk is also important aspect of urban resilience. Hence, a good understanding of preventive risk management is considering an important aspect to learn. Especially, in 2011 Thailand is affected by severe flood in south and central part of Thailand. Joining an insurance company would deem to see and learn the risk perspective of the vulnerable group and the measure of the insurer. In this job, risk prevention measures, risk assessment and actual client’s perception of risk and disaster risk was realized. The job responsibility was audit factory for fire risk according to NFPA, FM Global, Japanese, local law and the company standard
Asia IE
Over 400 premises have been inspected, the risk occupants namely, chemical warehouse/reactors, high voltage electric transforming station, solar farm, iron forge, automotive assembly, electronic components manufacture, etc. However, the information cannot be disclosed due to company’s regulation especially Japanese famous companies
Many standard and document were reviewed in order to audit and recommend safey ymeasures
The risk data, production process risk and countermeasures are collected and analyze the trend of client's counter measure to find the flaw in the approach and strengthen the preventive risk management activities including sharing the risk and countermeasure database Furthermore, numbers of national risk profile and disaster risk has been collected in numbers of countries in south and south east Asia such as Sri Lanka, India and Myanmar. Hence, the information of industrial estate, disaster risk and prevention has become a strength insight for an effect of jobs and economic impact and risk that may impact the development of a city

Residential Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS)
Technique/ Systems
The project was the master’s degree's dissertation which is a study of sustainable urban drainage implementation in residential area. The work included the study of the principles, techniques and case studies’ SUD implementation, then evaluate the design outcome in order to transfer them to UK setting. The transferability was indicated by climate type and precipitation rate Furthermore, the design was highly based on the site existing topography which were then utilized to conduct the drainage system and shape the character design of the space.
In order to test the implementation on the design's open space, the unit number and open space size should be realistic, therefore the project estimated unit size and number of the unit including area for car park that agreed to the sustainable ratio of 1:5 cars/house. These areas were calculated into the design which resulted in the public space design
Gross density 39 du/ha Net density 98 du/ha Total residential units 1372 Units Units size estimation 6mx10m Carpark 1875 cars Openspace for residents 2.6 ha The designed ratio follows Urban Task Force and Shaping Neighbourhood guideline

Ostfildern water management precedent
The design had followed the SUDS principles and the management train, each stages of the management train had applied SUDS techniques according to the case studies implementations which resulted in UK residential typology with realistic green spaces that could be used as the drainage feature. However, the size and amount of the water retained would still requires civil engineer's assistances.

Public Participation Detail Design The design had based on community involvement process which included public interview and public brain storm activity. The process I organized was public space modeling which allows the designer and community leader visualize the same outcome. The design is the result of that brainstorming which were later developed into concept and the detail design.

Sustainable High Density
Concept
The objective was to learn from an existing post-war Barbican estate and redevelop into an improved sustainable residential in the City of London. In this project I had designed the residential area that would fits into very high density the City of London District. In order to do so, I had increased the density vertically and organize the potential privacy issue into appropriate levels which reflects the hierarchy of each type of users' accessibility. 1:1000

Transit Oriented Development Planning
Introduction
The project was part of bachelor of urban planning final project. According to the data and analysis indicated that Payathai station which soon to be center of the transport hub. The station would become increasingly over populated with transferring commuter and increase the traffic jam in the are Furthermore, the developers were poised to demolish their existing buildings to take advantage of the Transport hub and increase the building density. Therefore, the design were aimed to envision and planned the area using TOD principles to accommodate the changes and to prevent the future traffic congestion
The building surrounding the station were designed to condense near the station to take advantage of the cluster and gradually lessen to residential according to TOD principles.

Everybody's place: Community networking
Interview
The objective of the work was to create strong community networks and to gain better understanding of the local residents' life in regards to their strength and weaknesses. The work was the conjunction between The Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI) and Community Architect for Shelter and Environment studio (CASE) where I had interned at.
The work included locating the community, arrange the interview with the community leader, Interview the strength and weaknesses of the community and lastly map the strength and weaknesses onto the map to create community-community assistance network. Even though the stage I had interned was the interview stage but the visiting and interview the communities' need had inspired me to design for the users since their view and designer's view are important and quite different, It would require a lot of communication. This internship had given me a new perspective toward urban design and planning.

Surathani Hospital Masterplan
Masterplanning
Suratthani Hospital is one of the busiest public hospital in Surathani with 500 beds for in-patient and 500 for Daily Out-patient. In 2009 the hospital had overloaded the capacity 800 beds of in-patient and over 2000 Daily Out-patient. The hospital require urgent reorganization and require extra building. The challenging was the new building would have to be built without interfering the hospital the main function, therefore it require good understanding of the hospital functionality and circulation. The master plan were laid out to build new patient building around the existing busy Out Patient Department (OPD) where the open space is now. The layout had concerned the patient's open space for air circulation and view and most of all it concerned the connectivity of the in-out patient and hospital services by separate the access between type or patient and services in order to give better function for the emergency route which is the major function of the hospital.

In 2011, there was an unusual severe flood in Nakhon Si Thammarat. As a current planner, I went to investigate and measure the depth of the flood to record and give further advises. From the study had concluded that it was the city's structure that caused the increasing flood. All were written in report format.
