Rio De Janeiro Carnival 6D/5N
Aerial view of buildings on the beach front, Ipanema Beach, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Rio De Janeiro Rio’s carnival is a real thrill, an unparalleled experience that starts from scratch every year with new costumes, new parades and new colors. At the beginning it started as simple street festivities with people parading and dancing to the music. It has evolved into something more complex a competition between samba schools with innovative and extremely imaginative glowing outfits with mirrors, feathers, metallic ornaments, silk and sometimes gems and coins. A bubbly, joyful atmosphere completed by the presence of MOMO the god of mockery in the Greek mythology, who according to the legend after being expelled from Olympus chose to reside in Rio. Since then, he opens all major Carnival events. You will be hit by a tornado of emotions that will take you far beyond reality.

Ever since we decided to get married all we could think about Albert and I was Bora Bora our honeymoon dream destination. But we had so many questions in mind. What was the best way to get there? What was the type of visa needed? How would we manage to take care of everything on our own especially that it wasn’t an easy and close destination?! That’s why we decided to pay a visit to Wild Discovery. I had previously travelled with them and I had a good memory about it. The experience was very pleasant back then including a great package offer and a superb hotel. Thinking about our honeymoon, I have to admit that without Wild Discovery, it wouldn’t have been that enjoyable and that well organized! We visited the ABC Dbayeh branch. We were warmly greeted by Ms. Rita who promised to send us as soon as possible an accurate suitable package. And indeed, few days later, we received a detailed offer including the hotels, the transportation, the tickets, etc... She advised us not only to visit Bora Bora but also Tahiti and Moorea Island, and I’m so glad she did so because Moorea turned out to be another piece of heaven on earth. The hotels, the transportations, the free entrance to the airport lounge, everything turned out to be more than what we expected. We literally spent 10 days in paradise, in beautiful and luxurious hotels, enjoying the blue sky and crystal clear water, unwinding, without worries. Wild Discovery, you’re the best! Thank you again for making our honeymoon so pleasant and for offering us an unforgettable journey! Albert Sikias Travelled to French Polynesia from 21 to 30 June, 2013

My first encounter with the Seychelles was landing on an airstrip surrounded by the ocean, and then driving through winding jungle roads .So many snap shots that still come back into my mind making me so nostalgic. A place where you lose track of time ,sitting with locals on large rocks, hiding in the shadow of bending palm trees, contemplating the ocean. I still recall everything: the endless golden shores lapped by the warm water, the lush flora and the old houses on a mountain background. An idyllic worry- free world, where you can explore the abysses of the ocean ,riding glass bottom boats and where you can swim with rainbow-colored fish .I remember running away from the hustle and bustle of the modern life, unwinding on those tiny hideaway beaches and savoring fresh barbequed fish. I had that feeling that time stood still .I never wanted to leave those beautiful traditional villages , where you can feel the spirit of the old life. Your winter destination!
Brazil
One of the world’s most captivating places, Brazil is South America’s giant, a dazzling country of powdery white-sand beaches, pristine rain forests and wild, rhythm-filled metropolises. Brazil shares a border with almost every other country in South America-only Chile and Ecuador are untouched--and covers almost half the continent. It is the fifth largest country in the world, behind Russia, Canada, China, and the U.S.A., with an area of eight and a half million square kilometers. Despite its vast expanse of territory, Brazil’s population is concentrated in the major cities of its coast. The urban sprawls of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo dominate the southern coast. Further north, towns such as Salvador and João Pessoa retain the colonial atmosphere of the early Portuguese settlers. The great interior, much of which is covered by the rainforest basin of the Amazon, remains sparsely settled. Almost half of Brazil’s territory is covered by the basin of the Amazon River and its tributaries, a region that is one of the world’s largest rainforest ecologies. Unfortunately, a substantial proportion of this area has suffered the effects of modernization in recent years. From the Amazon’s mouth on the Pacific to Manaus, the region’s bustling main city, the river is heavily traveled, and wildlife is scarce. Away from the cities and the main course of the Amazon, however, smaller tributaries lead past unspoiled habitat and traditional villages. South of the Amazon region, the country’s interior is dominated by the Brazilian Shield, an expansive bedrock flat that is slowly falling victim to the elements. The Mato Grosso, a smooth, grassy plain in Brazil’s center, slowly
gives way to the Planalto, a low-rise plateau that extends across the central and western regions. In the far west, along the border with Paraguay and Bolivia, is the Pantanal, one of the most extensive swamplands in the world. Brazil’s winter lasts from June to August, with temperatures between 13 and 18C, but it only gets really cold south of Rio. Summer is from December to February, a period frequently bringing stifling humidity to the far south. Brief rain showers are common, given Brazil’s tropical climate, but the dry interior has only a few months of heavy rainfall a year. Of course, the Amazon Basin is the wettest area, with damp, moist temperatures averaging 27 C. Brazil’s attractions extend from enchanting, frozenin-time colonial towns to dramatic landscapes of red-rock canyons, thundering waterfalls and idyllic tropical islands. Add to that, Brazil’s biodiversity: legendary in scope, its diverse ecosystems boast the greatest collection of plants and animal species found anywhere on earth. Brazil’s most famous celebration, Carnaval, storms

Wherever there’s music, that carefree lust for life tends to appear – whether dancing with Cariocas at Rio’s atmospheric samba clubs or following powerful drumbeats through the streets of Salvador. There’s the dancehall forró of the Northeast, twirling carimbó of the Amazon, scratch-skilled DJs of São Paulo and an endless variety of regional sounds that extends from the back-country sertanejo to reggae-loving Maranhão. There are places we dream about... Places where the sun never rises or goes down. I went there during the last two summers so I could witness it all at midnight. A place out of, and in, this world, next to the North Pole. A place I wanted to see before the icebergs melting persistently, due to climate change, whereas scientists are predicting it will fully melt in 10 years-time and hence more as a result polar bears are gradually becoming extinct. And I discovered…another world. All begins in Paris with a direct five-hours flight to Longyerbeen, the capital of Spitzberg. Gazing thru the airplane window I discover the wonderful white and blue landscapes beneath! here we are... on top of the WORLD! From Longyerbeen airport, we directly and rapidly connect to the neighboring capital peer. To embark on a polar boat for an expedition cruise around Spitzberg and Greenland. Here, the real adventure excitedly begins. We start sailing away and time has no more meaning. Put out of your mind internet connections and cellular receptions, you are now in the polar world ‘absolute peace and silence’. From the first day of navigation, the spectacle of nature is just everywhere. The dance of the icebergs, the sound of glaciars calving, the observation of birds, seals lying on their small islands’ pieces of ice, walruses growling on the beaches, polar bears walking on their ice pads, whales swimming around the boat. A unique and formidable experience, the journey of a lifetime… Don’t miss this extraodinary chance to explore these latitudes realms where arctic lights will dance forever in the sky for your souvenirs. wild ambassador France, Paris
Ah, Paris, the city of lights. I’ve been there more than 10 times, and every time I visit it I am amazed by the sizzling feeling that fills me .It’s just like going to my second home. Every morning, I used to wander the streets and boulevards trying new bakeries and savoring their warm fresh pain au chocolat - chocolate lovers take note. First visits to Paris can be daunting: you’re certain to stumble upon places of incredible history and beauty on every street corner. It can be difficult to know where to begin and what to see first, drawn as you are into quiet little alleys, or confronted with a long list of museums and monuments. Paris just wouldn’t be Paris without the Eiffel Tower, don’t miss the Orsay Museum. Even though I’m not really into art galleries, the visit was a fabulous experience. It is the most exciting museum I have ever seen. When you think you have seen it all, get to the top floor... the impressionists... get ready for the thrill of your life. I just love enjoying a drink at the terrace of a café in those narrow streets of the Quartier Latin. Book a visit to the Pompidou with a twilight session at its rooftop bar and restaurant, Georges. If you fancy more old-guard opulence, call on Le Bar at the Four Seasons George V Hotel for a cognac. Or you could order a cocktail from world-famous barman Colin Field at the Bar Hemingway in the Ritz Hotel. Finally, for unabashed dance floor fun, the venerable club Queen is still Paris’s best party, unsurpassed for disco ball sparkle and driving pop anthems. At first blush, Paris’s Montmartre neighborhood might seem a little bit sad with its neon strip, lined with peddlers of souvenir windmills. But stroll around its intricate back streets for few hours and you’ll likely find more local colors than you would in the center of Paris. Climb or ride the cable car up the hill to the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre. Finally don’t miss the great shopping at the Marais a famous shopping precinct, its boutiques and ateliers supplying Paris’s yen for simple things done beautifully. I LOVE YOU PARIS CITY OF LOVE CITY OF LIGHT Maria Coussa Travelled to Paris from 18 to 23 October, 2013

Paris, Caribbeans & USA
On April 6 2013, Omar and Sawsan got married in Lebanon. And for their honeymoon set on April 8, Wild Discovery prepared a customized package like no other. After carefully planning all the options that combined history, beaches, and a party scene, Omar and Sawsan began their long awaited trip. It started with a voyage from Beirut to Paris for a period of 4 days, followed by a trip from Paris to the St Thomas in the Caribbean, US Virgin Islands, for a period of 8 days. Then the expedition to Miami Beach Florida for 6 days came along At our arrival in Paris, a pre-arranged taxi service picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel Chateau Frontenac in Central Paris. The hotel was ideally located one block from the Champs Elysees and the breakfast was graciously offered for free till 1:30 pm! Paris was breathtaking. Between the sights, and the walks, and two shows (Moulin Rouge and Lido), we experienced everything we could during our stay. Rain did not hinder our walks, since the hotel offered us free umbrellas during our trip. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were fairly spacious compared to other rooms in Paris. Four days later, we headed back to the airport for the 8 hour transit flight to Miami, followed by another 3 hours to the island of St Thomas. In St. Thomas, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel which was rated the number one on the island. The Daily trips to St John Island were unforgettable, especially snorkeling around Turtle Beach and the surrounding reservations. Areas around the island were unspoiled and were protected

for their natural beauty. The surrounding water was turquoise and the scenery was breathtaking everywhere we looked. St Thomas and the Surrounding Islands in the Caribbean had history of Pirates and ships that dominated the beaches. The Cruise-lines dropped anchor on a magical island for shopping and sightseeing. After eight sunny days of expeditions, boat cruises, market squares, and sun tanning, it was time to leave. Arriving in Miami, we headed straight to Miami Beach and stayed at the Lowes Hotel as arranged by Wild Discovery. No hotel could be as well-located and as classy as the Lowes. We were delighted to reside in the centre of all the action on Miami Beach. Activities included more pool time, walks down Lincoln road for shopping, cuisine at famous restaurants near the strip, and renting a red convertible mustang for a venture around the city. Club life in Miami was unforgettable, as we both enjoyed an evening at world acclaimed LV night club on Saturday and a soiree at the famous Nikki Beach. This honeymoon trip turned out to be monumental .We spent the best 18 days of our lives sightseeing, sun tanning, and relaxing. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Wild Discovery for organizing an unforgettable honeymoon package. Everything was pre-arranged and confirmed prior to departure, which made the experience easier. The staff was extremely helpful showing us all the options and was very flexible when it came to last minute changes. Wild Discovery exceeded all my expectations; and proved to me that it was indeed a first class travel agency. Their Agents are so helpful, so professional, very skilled and above all, reliable. Thank you Wild Discovery for all your help and support and we are looking forward to planning our next trip with you. Omar & Sawsan Travelled to Paris, Caribbeans & USA From 6 to 23 April, 2013

testimonial MSC divina cruise
On the 21st of August 2013 my family and I, accompanied by 14 relatives took a flight from Beirut to Istanbul to hop on MSC Divina. We joined the cruise on that day and went on a tour to various countries. We first visited Croatia, had some wonderful time there and then went to Venice, Barry, Greece, and Izmir and then got back to Istanbul. We enjoyed ourselves so much and it was a lifetime experience. The reception on board was amazing and the boat was simply marvelous. My family and relatives couldn’t find a way to express their gratitude and gratefulness to all the crew members of MSC Divina. They were overwhelmed with joy and happiness. The passengers on MSC board were sharing the same feeling. If we weren’t obliged to come back to our works and schools, we would have planned other trips on Msc cruises. Anyway we still hope to travel again with Msc as long as time gives us a chance. Thank you to Wild Discovery Travel & Tourism for making this tour successful. Elias G. Warrak Travelled on MSC Divina From 21 to 28 August, 2013
